Gloria chuckled and spoke softly.
"Go downstairs and cook then. Or you can order takeout."
"Okay, but what if they're not leaving?"
Gloria smiled a scornful smile.
"Pride won't allow Jordy to stay here all the time. Don't worry. They'll be gone in a minute."
Gloria learned a few things about Jordy. After all, she had spent three years trying to figure out what he liked and satisfy him. She had tried her best to make him the best food in the world and give him everything.
More specifically, she had a crush on him. She gave him everything she had got, but it was all for naught. Now Gloria felt tired.
"There is nothing we can do," said Nydia after she heard what Gloria just said. Nydia got up and continued, "I'm going downstairs to get something to eat. You go back to sleep. By the way, when did you eat? Are you hungry now?"
"No, I'm not hungry. I ate just before you came. It hasn't been too long."
