Karen didn't know how to pluck courage and finish speaking.
Gloria smiled, "Grandma, I remember you like this dish best."
Saying that, she put some food in Karen's plate.
She didn't mention Jordy at all.
Karen was slightly relieved. She nodded with a smile, "Yes, let's eat! I asked them to make these dishes you like!"
Karen also put some food in Gloria's plate. They talked and laughed, completely ignoring Jordy. The atmosphere was so warm and Jordy seemed like an outsider.
He probably had gotten used to such an atmosphere. He didn't feel uncomfortable at all, and his appetite... even got better.

Gloria didn't intend to stay long because of Jordy's arrival. She looked at Karen and said with a smile, "Grandma, I've been here for a long time, and I still got some work to deal with. I'll come to see you another day."
