She saw the caller ID and picked it up.
"Hi, Kristina."
"How are you doing?"
Kristina visited Gloria when Gloria was recuperating at home.
They had been in touch for the past few months.
Gloria smiled, "I've recovered, and I have come back for work."
Kristina frowned slightly, "Are you sure you can deal with work in your condition?"
"Yes, I can deal with your case at any time. Call me if you want me to deal with it." Gloria answered at ease.
Kristina sighed, "They are still trying to delay and even intercepted the evidence I submitted, but they have set the time. The court will be in session in seven days."
Gloria nodded, "No problem."
"Gloria, I'm counting on you. My son's custody can't be taken away again."
"Okay, I know. Don't worry."
After talking for a while, they hung up and Gloria focused on her work again.
She newly worked in the department, so the company made things easy for her.
