Nina's POV
After the funeral, Beth wanted to accompany me back to the palace. She was worried about me. I smiled at her and refused her kindness.
"I'm fine. I'd like to stay here for a while longer."
Everyone else left, and I sat on the lawn in front of my father's tombstone.
I plucked a small yellow flower and placed it in my hand, twiddling it. The breeze blew my hair, calming me down. About a few minutes later, there were footsteps behind me. He held a bouquet in his hand and placed it in front of my father's tombstone, and then he turned and looked at me quietly.
It was Henry. I wasn't surprised, because I had seen him in the woods while Beth was talking to me.
Why would he be here? Shouldn't he be out of here by now?
I did not look at him and wasn't intending to talk to him. After all, it was my father's funeral, and he was the one who killed my father.
