章 15: chapter 12: Portal to Another World
We all talked for a while longer, I told Lilith the basics of how to start practicing her powers. I told her to use meditation to concentrate on connectimg to her inner power and possibly even communicate to the past PhaseWalk Siren users.
I did tell Lilith there is a chance she can speak to the other Sirens and even the souls of the other Siren power previous users such as Nyriad, but I wasn't sure if it'd work.
Lilith took what I said seriously which was more mature than Ava and Maya, while Maya was a monk her entire life, she eventually was well justified to get angry and leave Athens the way she did. Even then her mastery of her powers was remarkable for her age.
That's going to be a long and arduous task.
Welp...better get started later today.
I then informed everybody about the gate and our Plan for Sledge.
Angel was watching me much more often now.
She wanted to know more about Sirens, but doesn't want to reveal she is a Siren herself so long as John is watching.
She may also have been ordered through the Slave Collar to not reveal her powers.
Or she could still be suffering from PTSD of killing her mother, and didn't want me being afraid of her if I found out she was a Siren, despite the fact that I am one too. But having a Trauma of killing your own mother can cause a person to think like that.
Too bad I already knew from my past life memories. Doesn't that make me the oldest being in this Universe?
I mean...this Universe may have been created specially for me when I Reincarnated.
So I am older then even the Eridians and The Destroyer itself. Not gonna lie, that's kinda cool.
I went to scout out Sledge's Mine and learn what I could of the patrol, Bandits, areas and so on.
"I'll Eat Your Babies!"
I teleported in an instant from where I was and to my prepared hide away, I made 50 metres from Sledge's Mine.
I used my sniper to look at my recent position.
No one was there.
When I was thinking where the Bandit that had suprised me could be, I had gotten my answer as a female voice resounded in my head laughing loudly.
"Hahaha!"
"Hmm...Angel, you know I could have been shot at, if I had given away my location by firing."
Once she finished laughing at my reaction to her prank she responded.
"I know, i know. But I trust my Knight isn't going to get himself killed so easily, especially when he's an all powerful Siren. Jokes aside, you were safe and no one of Danger was near you."
"Is that so. Well, why did my Darling Angel contact me. Worried are you? Or did you want to see more of my handsome face since you already evesdroped on us, or would you like to look at my naked body and inspect my Tattoos. You know they go all over my chest and back as well, even down below. Care to have a look?"
Haha, payback. She's getting heated. If I looked, she might have steam comming out of her ears from how much she was blushing.
"NO NO! THERE'S NO NEED! STOP! PULL YOUR PANTS BACK UP! AND HOW'D YOU REMOVE YOUR ARMOUR THAT QUICKLY!" Angel screamed in my head for me to stop, fortunately it was Telepathy otherwise John would hear everything she just yelled out.
"Ah, that's a shame, maybe next time you can see it when I'm changing clothes."
*oof*
I was certain I heard an "oof" sound play inside my head as I pictured what might be inside Angel's mind.
"Uh-Y-I contacted you to tell you to stay away from Skag Gully from now on for your own safety." She said urgently wanting to divert the question.
Huh?
Why?
This is strange?
Nothing there should be of any danger for all of us.
"Why?" I curiously asked.
"There seems to be a distortion in space in that area. It has become incredibly unstable and has formed a wormhole of sorts."
Hmm
I wonder...
"Can you show me what you can see, to my Echo Device."
Angel did so, and what I had saw had made me lose my mind and geek the fuck out!
On the other side of the Portal I saw a snowy region and a large tower shaped facility.
But what shocked me the most was a woman on the other side of the Portal.
Theresa Apocalypse!
One of the characters from Honkai Imoact 3rd.
Given the fact she is welding the Oath of Judah, a artifact called a Divine Key which holds incredible power. She must have had her 1st fight with Sirin, the Herrscher of the Void.
To keep things short and brief...
There is a thing called the Imaginary Tree.
Around this tree is called the Sea of Quanta, which tries to swallow the Tree in its 'waters'.
The Imaginary Tree has branches that signify Timelines and Realities, while the leaves are Universes.
Gemshin Impact is on a separate Branch on the Imaginary Tree while Honkai Imoact verse is on another distant one.
Honkai Star Rail is another verse that is on the same thick branch as Honkai Impact Universe, but is on a branching out twig which means it is a separate tineline and branching Reality.
Proof of this is there is a character called Himeko in both universes that is almost the same. Welt Yang, the Herrscher of Reason in the current era of Honkai Impact had accidentally fallen into the Sea of Quanta and later on after leaving the Sea of Quanta he would enter Honkai Star Rail and in game dialogue says how he feels guilty that the Himeko in his universe died and he wants to help the Honkai Star Rail Himeko. Honkai Star Rail Himeko would also see the shattered sword that the Honkai Impact dead Himeko used in her fight to free Kiana from the Herrscher of the Void's control and says she feels a familiarity of it.
With that covered next...
The Imaginary Tree created a defensive mechanism for itself. The Honkai.
Silicone based beings that becomes stronger as technology advances. The Imaginary Tree sends the Honkai to these Leaf universes as a test, worlds that survive the invasion of Honkai will be allowed to stay on the Imaginary Tree. While those that fail will fall into the Sea of Quanta and become what is known as a dead 'Bubble Universe'.
However, the God of Honkai will create Herrschers, beings that have what is known as a Herrscher Core that bestows them with a separate dominant personality that the God of Konkai controls, while giving them powers over universal laws.
The Herrschers powers are always the same, but can change depending on the era they are in but this only happened a few times, such as when the Herrscher of Dominance changed to be the Herrscher of Legion.
In the Honkai Impact verse, to keep it short, in the past era they fought the Honkai, made superhuman that have Honkai abilities called MANTIS part of the FlameChasers group and can rival Herrschers in power. But the final Herrscher which controls time was also known as the Herrscher of the End and one shot all of Humanity. Humanity had to go into seclusion and re-grow over time until the first eruption happened.
From this 1st eruption in the current era, the Herrscher of Reason emerged. I'm not entirely sure, but all I can remember is that the Herrscher of Reason at the current time, from the Portal I saw, is Welt Yang. The leader of an organisation called Anti-Entropy. Went Yang was able to resist the influence of the Honkai Herrscher personality and retained his Human personality an identity.
This is thanks to the past era Herrscher of Origin, Elysia. Also known as The Herrscher who fell in love with humanity, and using her power was able to make it so that future Herrschers would retain their sense of self and identity and couldn't be directly 100% controlled by the God of Honkai.
As a side note, I the past era, there was a scientist called Dr.MEI who created an A.I. Prometheous that was meant to hack into the Imaginary Tree the source of the Herrscher powers. From what I can remember, this A.I. eventually became known as God and/or the Will of Honkai. This is different to the actual God of Honkai.
Honkai Impact 1 means the first re-emergence of the Herrscher and Konkai eruption, this was for Welt Yang the Herrscher of Reason.
The second Honkai Eruption is for Sirin, the Herrscher of the Void and the Strongest catastrophe to happen. This was what I knew was currently taking place through the portal.
Honkai Impact 3rd is the name of the game and is when the game events take place in. This was for Mei, Herrscher of the Void, one of the 3 main Heroine characters of Honkai Impact 3rd.
A smile crept its way onto my face, giving Angel a bad feeling.
In the next instant Angel saw Raime teleporting with all his might to a Catch-A-Ride station before he acquired a Outrunner and began driving at full speed towards Skag Gully.
The place she warned him not to go to!
"Raime! Wait! Stop! Don't go there, it's dangerous! The wormhole is unstable and could tear your body apart!"
Angel called out my name over and over but I ignored it, this was a opportunity for me in a number of ways. I can definitely obtain 3 out of the 4 Divine Keys that made its appearance during the second eruption and even Herrscher Cores, and best of all!
He can aquire the Kaslanna Bloodline from Siegfried Kaslanna or Theresa Apocalypse, and even the Emperor Class Honkai codename Parvatti and Vishnu genes from both of them, or I can aquire both directly from Theresa herself.
Before long, I appeared before the Portal and reached my hand out to touch it.
"Sorry Angel, I'll be back soon, I promise, i need to do this. At most I might be gone for a few seconds to one month. Welp, better get going!
"No! Don't do it!"
Hearing the last of Angel's voice of worry, I jumped into the wormhole, feeling the telepathic connection to Angel get cut off in the process.
Honkai Impact here I come! Sirin, please be a good girl and give daddy your five Herrscher Cores!
(A/n if any of you don't know what's going on in following 2 - 3 chapters for Honkai Imoact 3rd, 2nd eruption arc. Dont worry, I won't blabber on about it with so much filler Explanations and keep them very brief, this chapter was mostly filler explanation and pretty much covers the essentials for the next mini arc. I myself didn't know Honkai Impact Lore until recently but its fairly easy to explain now since I covered the main things. Tell me if there is anything u want to know, BTW mc face is in the comments below since for some reason I can't post images inside chapters anymore, so it will be at the end in the after chapter comments. Btw...Double chapters! Suprise!)
