[T/N: I replaced Senpai with senior because I'm lazy and to make this story more accessible to a lay audience (like I know most of you are ;).]
——————
In the corridor of the second grade…
"You're not a second-year student, are you?"
The three students' school uniforms were not worn tidily, and they appeared a bit like bad boys blocking Ying Ye Zhenshi's path, with fierce looks in their eyes.
"Ah, I am a freshman that just joined, Ying Ye Zhenshi. Seniors, treat me well going forward."
Ying Ye Zhenshi smiled and greeted them.
He didn't display an ounce of anxiety or fear because of their ferocious eyes and tone.
On the contrary, he looked very jovial.
Delinquent boys were what he liked the most, so he could be more than happy to see his favourite existence as soon as he arrived on the second floor.
But with how he looked so much like a good student, the seniors wondered if this guy didn't take their discontent into account at all.
He had these bad boys wondering if Ying Ye Zhenshi had a brain problem or something.
None of them could suppress the freshman and he made them feel ashamed instinctively.
A mere freshman had disrespected his seniors so much.
"Don't act all chummy, first grader. This is not where you belong, so go back quickly."
"Do you want to find out how strong your seniors are?"
"Leave quickly, there is no place for you here."
The trio drove him away directly.
"Hey~. Does the school have a rule that first-year students cannot come to the second-grade's floor? I don't seem to have heard of such a rule."
Ying Ye Zhenshi had no intention of leaving and looked at the board behind them.
"Here, we make the rules."
"First-year kid, be obedient, or I will let you know what the 'rules' are."
His words directly agitated the bad trio, who started shouting loudly.
Their hysterical responses could be heard all across the entire floor.
The shouts would have been enough to scare the faint of heart.
"Really? I don't believe you. Are you seniors going to hit me? I feel a little scared."
Following their words, Ying Ye Zhenshi questioned them.
There was a faint smile on his face, and he feigned fright.
Yet, he still looked up at them, as if putting himself out there to be beaten up.
This appearance had the corners of the bad trio's eyes twitching.
They were obviously annoyed, but they still didn't do anything.
"It seems that this year's freshmen are amazing, they don't even listen to the senior students."
"You are very annoying!!"
Their noise attracted the attention of many second-grade students, but no one came to stop them or reprimand them.
"Sure enough, you are a bunch of useless seniors. You can only bully good people with your mouths. In fact, you are just useless. Guys like you, even if you died and burned to ashes, your mouths would still be running. It doesn't look like you seniors have the final say here, so please give way. Don't keep blocking the way of a junior student like me, or I will report you to the school. Oh, and I was thinking to clarify with the school if the rules of your seniors are more important than those of the school's."
Ying Ye Zhenshi spoke slowly with his words full of disrespect, and his body still up close to the seniors in front of him, as though he were carefree.
All the men standing in Ying Ye Zhenshi's way felt like attacking him.
"Forget it, a guy like this will get himself in trouble sooner or later. Don't think this is the same as your previous school. Be careful."
One of the seniors stood there motionless, with his veins bulging.
He looked like he wanted to punch him badly, but when Ying Ye Zhenshi stepped forward as though asking for a punch, the senior was pulled away by the two people beside him.
"Yeah~. Sure enough, the rules of you seniors are not as mighty as the rules of the school. You're really useless. Thank you for advising me though, seniors. I will be careful and play with you guys again some other time."
As there was no one left in front of him, and since it was confirmed that these three people had no intention of fighting him, Ying Ye Zhenshi did not continue the confrontation with them.
The three unscrupulous seniors stared at his back.
Their hostile eyes clearly conveyed the fact that they would not let this matter go.
The three bad guys were planning something.
"That bastard. Find out for me what class he is in. For a mere freshman, he is so arrogant. Even if he is in Class A in the first grade, I will let him know what hell looks like!!!"
Ying Ye Zhenshi didn't bother with their bitching, and walked into the second-year students' spot with a swagger in his step.
Many students were dating and playing around there, and there also appeared to be some club activities going on.
The arrival of Ying Ye Zhenshi disturbed many of the NPCs, but he completely ignored the gazes of the others and even walked into the class directly.
Soon, the second graders all learned of the cheeky first-year student who made a trip to their floor.
But Ying Ye Zhenshi didn't care about this.
He was standing in front of a small blackboard at this current point in time.
He recalled that the first-year classrooms also had a small blackboard at the front, but there were no numbers on it.
Standing not too far away from him, a second-year student looked at him unhappily.
[A1880]
[B1200]
[C800]
[D300]
"Senior, can you tell me what this is?"
Looking at the seniors who were standing not too far away, Ying Ye Zhenshi said hello.
Unfortunately, no one seemed to be paying attention to him.
He took out his phone and took a picture of the board.
"Could it be… this is the school's rating of you?"
"It's from A to D. Sure enough, the students in Class D are 'flawed products'."
Ying Ye Zhenshi stood in the room of Class D, talking to the second-year students, so there were bound to be many second-year Class D students here.
When it came to saying the phrase 'defective products', the volume of his voice was amplified a little.
"Who are you?!"
"What class are you from?"
"Freshman, don't act arrogant."
"Are you here to cause trouble?"
These words obviously irritated some of the individuals in Class D.
Even the faces of the students from the other classes turned a bit ugly.
Sure enough, the irritating words- 'defective products' were a common derogatory term no matter what grade one was in.
Such were the untold rules of the school.
"What an unfriendly bunch of seniors. I will play with you again when I have time."
Seeing that no one came to beat him up or answer his questions, he decided to leave.
And even if they hadn't answered his question, Ying Ye Zhenshi had already got the answer.
'Sure enough, this is the evaluating standard. Even if one or two people could pretend, but with so many people reacting that way, it should be impossible. If the third grade also has this scoring standard, my guess can basically be confirmed.'
He waved his hand at them and then went to the floor of the third year.
In the third grade, no one obstructed his movements.
It may have been that they had already heard about the indigent on the second floor just now, or maybe they just didn't care.
With prior experience under his belt, Ying Ye Zhenshi looked at the small blackboard of the third graders' classroom.
