The group had stopped and made camp for the night, but Evelyn's mind would not rest. She was too paranoid after her dream last night and she did not want to worry the group. She stared into the night sky and thought about how simple her life was just months ago. She had been looking forward to her eighteenth birthday and finally being able to travel on her own. She had never expected that her life would take this turn and that she would be traveling with a group of vampires, a witch, and a werewolf. Evelyn sighed and closed her eyes. She could feel Clyde's presence behind her and she breathed in his scent. He smelled like musky rain and it helped calm her nerves.
"Can you not sleep?" He asked and took a seat next to her on her blanket.
"No," Evelyn shook her head.
