章 43: Vampires?!

The blue communication stone on Duke Arthur Gauthier's desk began to glow; a sign that Roxanne was finally getting back to him. Her image appeared and he was startled to see her surrounded by other witches. Nervously he greeted her, "Hello, Roxanne."

"I would like to meet Duke Henry Valentia's daughter, the witch you mentioned," she stated matter of factly. There was no hesitation in her voice and Duke Arthur grew suspicious. This was oddly similar to what Duke Henry had described happened to Evelyn back in the day. 

He tried to push his anxiety aside and ignored his wolf's protest, "I can arrange for you to meet his daughter, Peggy. She is excited to meet fellow witches and learn from you," he said.

"I will meet with her after the ball. We are invited, aren't we?" She asked incredulously.
