章 2: Chapter 2 BIRTH IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Falling down the hole I felt pressure all around me. It is hard to breathe, no I can't breathe.
'Wow this is not a good experience.'
The pressure around me increased as the walls around me tightened. And that was when i realised I can touch.
1999 RANDOM HOSPITAL IN NEW YORK
A white light opened near my head and before I knew I was pushed into it. Damn I am weak.
Soon followed by
"Aahaaaaaa...." A feminine voice
"Come on Sofie. Push... Push"
"What do you 'huff' think I am 'huff' doing. Breakdancing?!!.. Aaaahhhhaaaaaa."
"And he's out. Wait he is not crying." And the devil in white all call a gynaecologist started beating my butt. " You fucker. Stop hitting me like I am a drum. Oh shit. Some of that liquid went in my mouth. Bhwaaaa.."
But I am a baby and all the words came as short cries except for the last one which was an original cry.
The mother Sofie hugged me and then i noticed she was not that old.
"Oh cute baby" she said with heavy breaths and sweaty face. Her breathing became even uneven her heart beats sped up till there eas just a pause. The doctor who was trying to save her was also having a lost feeling in his face.
And me, I cried a lot. I just came to this new world and here I was an orphan. It makes me kind of free. But it still hurts like hell.
I was cleaned by a nurse and brought back to see my mother for the last time. She was a black lady of African descent. She had a peaceful expression with a smile in the face.
The nurse seeing me look said
"Look child I know you just lost your mother and you are an orphan now. But I promise you everything will be alright soon. This necklace was the one she wore when she came here. And now i guess it belongs to you. You will be given by your new guardian when you are of age." In her hand was a necklace of gold colour with a ring.
It was a tiring day and I just felt sleepy and thats what I did.
The next day I qas taken to the graveyard Acacia Cemetery in Queens to bury my mother.
That was where I was handed to a nun who took me to a catholic orphanage where I'll live my childhood. I am feeling sleepy again. Good night.....
