He shook his head, "No, you're injured, and I need to stay here with you. You have two choices: either let me stand by the door and keep you company, or let me into your room."
Listening to his stubborn words and seeing the deep concern in his dark eyes, she stopped being obstinate, "I'm not hurt. I really don't mind that second brother brought a woman home."
"I don't believe you."
She frowned, "I've said there's nothing wrong!"
He grinned, "Alright, then it's settled that I'm the one who's hurt."
Speechless, she said, "If you want to stand, then just stand by the door."
With that, she slammed the door shut and truly lay down on the bed to sleep.
Truthfully, although she was annoyed on the surface by third brother being such a nuisance, glancing at the closed door and thinking of third brother standing guard outside, she couldn't deny she was moved at heart.
