"Stop moving," I heard him groan in my sleepy state as I moved on the bed to find the perfect posture to continue my slumber.

I got comfortable and was drifting back into the darkness when the sun began coming up in the sky, its rays meeting my closed lids and prompting me shuffle for the second time on the mattress in an attempt to escape the brightness.

Lorenzo and me had been up till past midnight doing dirty things married couples do which should be kept out of the ears of children and young teenagers.

Fully turned to the other side, I felt a warm breath fan my face and slowly opened my eyes to find the culprit staring down at me with those deep pools of grey that drew me in and trapped me.

"I warned you to stop moving," he growled in a raspy morning tone that caused my whole body to vibrate in response as he kissed my bare shoulder.
