*Honk! Honk!*

A noise pierced the darkness in my mind and the sleep state I was in, causing me to break of from my slumber as it sounded too heavy for me to ignore even if I tried.

*Honk! Honk!*

It came again and I couldn't help but groan into my pillow as I turned to lie flat on my stomach and kick the soft mattress in frustration.

*Honk! Honk! Honk! Honk! Honk!*

"Oh that does it," I muttered under my breath, my eyes flashing open as they screamed murder on whatever object they rested on.

*Honk! Honk! Honk!*

"Who the hell?!" I couldn't help but screech as I huffed in anger and threw away the brown blanket covering my body.

Teeth gritting in annoyance, my furious eyes scanned every corner and perimeter of my room in a bid to find and kill the source of the disturbance, nevertheless I found nothing.
