By now, Adrian Zhekova's mind was much clearer.
He took a breath and said, "Okay, I'm getting up."
"You can continue to sleep for a while," Cindy Clarke said, feeling bad for waking Adrian Zhekova up.
Adrian Zhekova kissed her lightly on the lips, then got up with her.
"We don't need to rush to wake Morgan up," Adrian Zhekova said.
Cindy nodded.
After both had freshened up,
Cindy began preparing breakfast and only then did she let Adrian Zhekova go wake the little one.
Adrian Zhekova entered Morgan's room.
The boy was stretched out in all directions, sleeping soundly.
The pillow was skewed to one side.
His small head was resting halfway on the pillow, tilted on the bed.
His pajamas had been pulled up, revealing a rotund belly.
Perhaps feeling slightly cold in the middle of the night, he'd draped a corner of the quilt over his belly.
It was indeed quite warm in the house.
Even with the quilt barely covering him, he didn't feel cold.
