"To be honest, Severus told me that he is interested in partnering with me. Apparently he is waiting for my husband's human life to end and then he will swoop in and try to woo me."

"That's not something new." Carnelia told her.

Reapers did it all the time, male or female. They were immortal beings so they had all the time in the world to wait for those they were interested in.

To her ears, this did not sound dangerous. Foolish yes but danger, no.

And she only thought that it was foolish because there were many other impressive male reapers who stood a chance with Scarlet before Ramslin. Heck, even Tridon with his promiscuous ways would make a better partner for her than Ramslin.

Nyx was at the top of her list however and other unpaired generals of the underworld closely followed.
