章 389: Soul-sealing jewel beetle

Qi Wen covered himself up. He was traveling with a file. The place he heading to was the cheap rented apartment of a former singer whose life had gone downhill because of Bai Zhe. Qi Wen rang the doorbell. After a short while, the former singer opened the door.

"Oh, Mr. Qi Wen, hello. Is there anything I can help you with?" asked Nia Fong. He was in a T-shirt and soccer shorts. Though he did not have any work, he did not forget to take care of himself. Thus, he still had a good and healthy body, no different than when he was a singer.

"Is there anybody with you?" asked Qi Wen.

"No. I live alone. My parents died when I was young. It was lucky that I got a scholarship for my education until I got to work in the entertainment industry," said Nia Fong.

"You are a good person, not like what everybody else says. Oh, can I come in?" asked Qi Wen.
