Thunder rumbled in the distance, lightnings flashed in the sky, and the rain droplets pattered on the window, rousing Shikera from her sleep. After Ethan had followed her to her room the previous night while warning her to stay there for the night, she had fallen asleep immediately and only just woke up.

Rising sleepily from the bed, she remembered Ethan's last words the previous night.
