Chapter 19 - Harem Date
Peter finds himself spending the rest of the afternoon with four of the girls who share the same feeling towards him. He acted ignorant and simply followed them with Felicia extremely clinging fighting against Ava who disliked her action while Gwen and Jessica manage to be the one getting close to Peter with the two receiving a smug smile from Gwen while Jessica blush as she walks beside her crush.
Meanwhile, the man in question was thinking about the Claymore girls in their worlds and thought he would take them on a trip to at least educate them about his world. He wasn't worried about missing anything since time won't be an issue. It didn't take them long to arrive at the New York city amusement park.
He had once taken them here before and managed to win some prizes after playing a few games that only required timing and precision using his calculation skill to win them all.
"Aren't we lucky! There aren't many people like before." Felicia exclaimed, noticing the number of people was rather smaller than before.
"It's likely because people are starting to get scared because of the recent shenanigans like Aliens attacking and superpowered criminals roaming the streets." Ava said as she hoped that there won't be anything to ruin the moment.
She does wish that she's the only one there but knowing how it would impact Peter's lives if they fight and distance themselves because of it hurts more than letting her selfishness overtake her. However, it still depends if Peter were going to pick one over the other.
"Then let us enjoy our time." Peter said everyone began to walk around the amusement where they bought some snacks where Felicia was taking some photos while Jessica was chatting with Gwen and Ava trying out some of the games. He first went to join Gwen and Jessica first.
"Yo girls, whatcha chatting about?" Peter said as he crossed his arms leaning on the wall and close by were Ava and Felicia with the two competing after finishing taking pictures.
"Girls stuff." Gwen tried to keep it secret since they had agreed to confess that day. Peter was skeptical and knew exactly what she was planning.
"Alright, how about you, Jessica? Having fun?" Peter asked with a bright smile.
"Yes, it's a good thing that we have more time for ourselves. Still can't believe you would actually leak what they did to the police." Jessica said astonished that he would be that brutal against people who wronged him.
"Like Jessica said, it's unbelievable how much you hold a grudge against them but I'm glad they are put into justice now." Gwen nodded even though Peter could get arrested and still felt it was the lesser evil.
"I can't say it's a grudge since I'm not that petty but I just saw it as an opportunity for justice." Peter truly couldn't bear any hatred and merely felt it's obligation to put them to justice when others couldn't.
"Wow, then I wonder how scary it would be if you actually held a grudge." Gwen wondered what kind of person Peter is now.
"When anyone tries to hurt and harm you then things change. I'd rather be the one to get hurt than you girls." Peter can tolerate getting hurt but once anyone he cares about is hurt then the only thing that that person or thing could do is accept their fate. The two girl's hearts skipped a beat hearing how much he cares for them.
"Aaaww~ that's so sweet Peter." Gwen was genuinely happy that he would get angry on their behalf while Jessica blushing and inwardly rolling in her mind from embarrassment.
"Don't you agree, Jessica?" Gwen nudged her elbow against Jessica who profusely nodded.
"Y-Yes, I'm happy to hear you would get worked up for us but hope you won't do anything that will get you hurt because of us." Jessica said.
"Sure, I'll keep that in mind." Peter said even though if the off chance of him finding an enemy stronger than him then he won't hesitate to fight for them.
"Still last Friday you were like usual but now you've gotten a lot more confident and stood more boldly. What is the cause of the sudden change? Wait, are you a mutant?" Gwen realizes that her friend could be in danger if he was like the mutant who is discriminated against.
"What? No, of course not!" Peter quickly answered since he doesn't even have an X-Gene and was more of a Human mutate.
"Then do you know why you became like this in 2 days?" Gwen is curious as to the reason for the sudden change.
"Trade secret. Can't tell you without something in return." Peter would tell them once they confessed since it's only fair and they will eventually learn about it anyway. But he'll try to find a way to give them powers.
"Hmmm, you cheeky bastard. Fine I'll tell you later." Gwen does like Peter even more now that he's a lot more playful and carefree.
"Well, I think I'll go check on the other two before they really start murdering each other." Peter excuses himself, heading towards Ava and Felicia currently competing in a dance machine where people started to gather and cheer for them.
"Giving up, you street cat!?" Ava showing precise and elegant moves showing her expertise. She may not use her powers at the moment and doesn't take away her years of training under her father.
"As if, you feral cat must be losing you're mine if you think I'm giving up!" Felicia wasn't far off as the two were physically equal at the moment and she has the mentality to never be second best doing her utmost to beat her.
"Do your best, you two!" Peter cheered hoping not to be biased since he can't choose who exactly to cheer on. The two women heard this and looked at each other then proceeded to move even faster and better than before.
"Whoever wins, get to have a date with Peter first, deal?" Felicia said.
"You're on! Prepare to lose!" Ava said
The two became wild as if an aura appeared and a White Tiger was fighting a Black Feline beast as everyone watching screamed to cheer.
"The two are getting worked up again. It's likely they made a bet to get the first in line dating Peter." Gwen said as none plan on having Peter all for themselves knowing how it would lead to disaster.
"Is it fine? I think they are getting too much attention." Jessica said, noticing some people taking video.
"It's fine, I can hack and delete the video later." Peter walked his way to them, finding the two in the crowd. He didn't like some were perving at the girls.
"Who do you think will win?" Gwen asked, seeing the two pushing themselves to beat the other.
"It sounds biased but Ava wins this one. Felicia isn't weak but Ava is just slightly better." Peter said while munching on some popcorn.
"Wait…where did you get that?" Gwen never saw him buy and simply saw him carrying some popcorn.
"Want some?" Peter shared his snack as they continued to watch the two feline women fight. The crowds became wild the closer they got to the end of the song. As he had predicted the one who won was Ava giving a smug smile that annoyed Felicia but this only gave her an idea and run towards Peter who was walking towards them.
"Peter~ comfort me!" She went to embrace Peter who happily took her chuckling seeing how sly she was and Ava saw her having the smug smile.
"Hmph, I still don't forget who won our bet." Ava crosses her arms and Felicia doesn't care, purring as Peter comforts her.
"I don't care, at least I'm getting pampered by Peter and not you." Felicia acted childish and enjoyed being spoiled by Peter.
"Did you great, Ava. Just don't mind her. Let me guess, the winner gets the first in line, right?" Gwen asked to confirmed and nodded.
"How about I do the same but with rock, paper, scissor then?" She continued seeing the opportunity and Ava thought it was a lot easier.
"Sure but now I'm hungry. How about we buy snack first." Ava said craving something to eat and Gwen nodded the group went to get some snack then found a place to sit. Peter sat in the middle end of the table while the girls at the side with Felicia sitting next to Jessica and Ava next to Gwen.
"Oh that's the stuff!" Ava manage to eat a lot of food in single sitting since her body does needs a large amount of nutrition since she's also an athletic.
"Hey Peter, can I ask you something?" Felicia asked.
"You already did but sure." Peter chuckled and made her smile.
"Well, who do you think is the most beautiful among us?" Felicia asked and everyone was interested in hearing who would be his preference. Peter thought for a moment looking at them and his gaze made them blush.
"If I'm being honest it's tough since each of you are not the same and are beautiful in your own right. Gwen has the likable and friendly beauty who makes you feel that you can trust her with everything you have." Peter said, making Gwen blush hearing his description of her.
"Ava has the dependable and approachable cool girl vibe where you get along and have fun but also can be tough and stubborn. Like a wild cat." His words strike Ava and blush.
"Jessica on the other hand is the cute and sweet girl who you want to protect but she doesn't need it since deep down she's the strongest and toughest girl I know that can overcome any obstacle." The said girl seem to be steaming, feeling flustered after his words.
"You, Felicia, is the alluring beauty that many men would fall overhills from your looks alone but I know better, despite your carefree and playful demeanor is kind and caring, who would do anything for those who are important to you. Unlike Liz Allen, you don't look down on people." Peter finishes grabbing another chicken sandwich and Felicia blush starts to fall even deeper for him.
"Wait…why do you look flustered? You girl's sick?" Peter played ignorant to tease them and they simultaneously shook their heads.
"Nothing, but I have another question. If everyone asks you on a date, how would you choose and why?" Felicia slowly goes towards their confession.
"Tough question. If all of you use me then it means the rest will be left out and hurt." Peter sighed frankly it was easier in Claymore Verse but here the girls have a different mindset than they were.
"Then what if the one you choose permits you to date the rest could handle that?" Felicia was bold enough to ask him this question since she doesn't actually mind him having more since she also enjoys having threesomes or an orgy.
"Sure I don't see the problem. Why are you girls asking me this anyway?" Peter pretended to tilt his head while Ava facepalms.
"Okay that's it! Peter, we like you and want us to be your girlfriend. Is that clear enough for you!?" Ava became frustrated at how dense he can be and the rest of the girls were surprised that she actually confessed.
"....You girls sure about that? What do you girls like about me?" He made sure and at least saw what they thought about him.
"God you're dense, you have always been helpful and friendly to us, often putting us before yourself. You're brave and kind as well as strong willed. You were charming and lovable even before you changed." Ava answered and the girls nodded.
"Yeah, what she said. Peter, you might become more confident and bold now, but you are still the same person who we shared our feelings for." Gwen confessed and Jessica followed.
"We already talked about it and decided to share it with you because we know you'll be sad if we distance ourselves from you." Jessica is finally able to say her feelings.
"In others you just got yourself a harem." Felicia smiled seeing Peter speechless then softly smiled then sighed.
"Wait I'm happy that you girls confessed but I want to be honest with the four of you. But let me take you somewhere better." Peter said taking the group to different places where it was within a floating island similar to Dana's island. He simply thought of a place then he can find the exact description among the countless universes and dimensions.
"W-Where are we?" Gwen was shocked to find themselves in different places and the rest of the girls were also bewildered while Ava was more alert. They all looked at Peter trying to find answers.
"Let me start from the very beginning."
