章 119: Attack

There were a few things the self proclaimed Edwin knew but wasn't ready to acknowledge them as facts.

Fayre getting hurt only made Edwin frown, but he actually felt nothing about her getting hurt, after all, it was her fault for not being on guard when the situation clearly asked her to, and getting hurt was the most natural thing at that moment. But, the reason he reacted the way he did was because he knew what his reaction should be as her boyfriend, hence he got himself angry and hurled his axe at her opponent to separate him from her.

Every time something happened to those around him, he felt something scratch that strange empty feeling within him and that was it; how he came to be like that, he didn't know, but what he did know but refused accept was the fact that there was something wrong with him.
