My body filled with life as soon as it detected the sun outside. The normally groggy eyed and confused morning Demyan was long gone as my eyes burst open and a bright smile coated my lips. Today was the most important day for Ethan. It was his birthday and instead of waking up in his strong arms I woke up to my body hugging a pile of pillows. 

I recoiled away from them instantly and sat up as I gaped around the room. "Ethan?" I called out as I slipped off my bonnet protecting my deeply conditioned curls. As I massaged my fingers through my scalp I realised the pillows were arranged to the shape of his body. On his bedside table was a bottle of his cologne. 

That explained why they smelt just like him, but it also had me thinking. For someone who worked out so much, why did he feel the equivalent of sleeping on a pile of pillows?
