I constantly sniffed Malia's hair as she sat on my lap in the living room. Her arms held me tightly as I had my own wrapped around her tiny body. She constantly pressed kisses to my forehead in efforts to calm me down which worked. "Are you scared your Dad is going to cut you off?"

I nodded, "I don't need the money. I make a good chunk on my own but I just don't like the fact he will be disappointed in me."

"I would be disappointed in you too," she hummed, "You're lucky I'm not psycho you know. I would have probably stabbed you but I'm a good girl. Cheating on your pregnant girlfriend, shame on you but luckily I've learned forgiveness."

"Thank you Malia, for the reassuring words," I rolled my eyes.
