章 113: The Players Handbook

Once the water in the shower turned off, I finally found the courage to stand up from the couch and leave the room. It would have been easy to go to the balcony to have a quick smoke just to relieve some stress but if Malia saw me it would probably be another argument. 

I left the suite in general and decided to go down to the beach for some fresh air. Most of the guests at the hotel were probably settling in for the night so I hoped it would be quiet enough just for me to have a moment to myself. 

Luckily, as if the universe was with me for just this one second, the beach was empty except for a few employees cleaning up in the distance. I found a beach chair and threw myself down after plumping the pillows. Once I was comfortable I took out the box from my pocket, took one out and lit it with my lighter.
