章 109: Wife

"So Demyan are you excited for the baby?" Nina beamed as we ate our dinner. 

I gave her a kind smile and nodded, "Yes, a baby always is a blessing." Today I had to think like Dad if I wanted to make a good impression. Pa often compared us to little demons some days so it would not be wise to quote his words. 

Sofia nodded with a hum and smile, "You see you're a smart young man. Malia was panicking a lot this past week."

Malia's face became beetred as she quickly shook her head, "I was panicking about myself being a good mum."

Joshua shook his head as his light hazel eyes glimmered with mischief, "I don't blame her. If this baby can survive with Malia as a mother I would know that there is such a thing as faith."

"Do you have any children of your own?" I looked to Joshua since I figured he was older. 

"I am expecting," he grinned, "In four months, it's going to be a December baby."
