章 54: Have I Lost Your Trust Already?

"Did father tell you about the mystical cold fire?"

Yan Lingyun furrowed his brow. 

"Mystical cold fire? What nonsense are you going on about?"

Clearly he didn't think of it as an important matter and instead thought that Changmin was merely bringing up something completely unrelated to divert the matter on hand. 

"How about the longevity fire?" Changmin didn't give up.

Yan Lingyun's eyes flashed. 

'The fire that can bring the dead to life…" He muttered under his breath. 

Changmin nodded gravely. After a brief pause he continued,

"I am here to ask you for a favour."

Lingyun was still lost in the mention of the cold fire and it took him a while to pay attention to his words. 

"Go ahead, go ahead." Lingyun stroked his white beard and said amiably. A sense of anticipation was now rising in his heart after hearing his words. Will..will he be able to see his son and daughter in law once again?
