"Is the old man going to join the fight?" Ace took a deep breath, causing the flame on his fist to extinguish.
"It looks like Pops holds great admiration for Katakuri," Marco remarked, smiling as he exchanged a meaningful glance with the others. "Perhaps he'll become our brother."
"Ugh?" Everyone was taken aback by this revelation, but upon further reflection, the idea of Katakuri joining the family didn't seem so bad.
"The strongest man in the world - Whitebeard!"
Katakuri's face remained motionless, his previous calm expression now replaced by a solemn demeanor. He had a calculative and calm personality, never overestimating or underestimating others. Fully aware of the vast gap separating him from Whitebeard, Katakuri faced the challenge.

Whitebeard's overwhelming power and the intensity of the battle against Katakuri reached a critical point. Katakuri, known for his incredible dodging abilities, found himself in a perilous situation as Whitebeard's Naginata descended with tremendous force.
"Guurarara~ Linlin kid, show me the extent of your foolishness!" Whitebeard's laughter echoed as the Naginata swiftly approached. Katakuri, recognizing the immense power behind the blow, instinctively raised his trident to defend himself, engaging in a clash of metal that reverberated with explosive force.
The strength behind Whitebeard's attack left Katakuri defenseless, his arms trembling as he was pushed backward. Despite his efforts to resist, he felt the overwhelming force and realized he was about to fall to the ground. In that critical moment, Katakuri remembered his sister's words, vowing never to fall on his back.
"I can't fall!" Katakuri exclaimed, determined not to let his family down. As he felt the numbness in his arm, he was on the verge of landing on his back. However, he summoned an unexpected surge of strength, forcefully slamming his head onto the ground, prioritizing support for his body over potential injury.
BOOM! The impact resonated, and Katakuri's head made contact with the ground before his back, showcasing his unwavering determination. Beads of sweat trickled down as he continued to use the trident to withstand Whitebeard's assault.
"Guurarara~ Even if it means getting injured, you must not land on your back. Is there a special conviction that drives you?" Whitebeard inquired, acknowledging the unusual resolve displayed by Katakuri in the face of such formidable opposition. The battle continued, each moment revealing the strength of both combatants and the unyielding convictions that fueled their actions.
Whitebeard witnessed the scene and chuckled, "What a reckless fool!" Saying this, he put away his Naginata, The Murakumogiri.
Feeling the pressure in his hand weaken, Katakuri exerted sudden force to evade. He leaped away from Whitebeard, putting some distance between them. However, he didn't feel lucky or satisfied. Instead, he gazed at Whitebeard with a serious expression. The previous strike made him acutely aware of the vast difference between himself and Whitebeard!
"Sigh~" He took a deep breath, making a conscious effort to calm down.
Swinging the trident once more, Katakuri charged towards Whitebeard. Zhiiing~ The sound of breaking through the air echoed. This attack was faster and more aggressive than before. However, Whitebeard seemed to see through the future, effortlessly dodging Katakuri's attacks no matter where they came from.
Throughout Katakuri's relentless attacks, Whitebeard's expression remained unchanged. From the beginning until now, it seemed like a breeze for Whitebeard. It appeared that he didn't take this battle seriously at all.
"Heh~" Crocodile said with a cigar in his mouth. "This battle is so boring. The difference in strength is too great, and there's absolutely no chance of winning!"
"Obviously, Katakuri is up against the old man!" Marco grinned predictably.
