章 181: Aftermath

A few days quietly passed within the royal palace of the Erebus but just as Loana had predicted, Orion soon woke out of his coma.

His eyes fluttered open, his gaze steady and calm as no confusion or anger could be seen within them.

Orion was currently within his childhood bed, the one he'd slept on everyday before he began cultivating. It'd been a while since he slept in this bed, or simply slept, in fact.

Orion got up and sat on the edge of his bed, looking at the marble floors of his room with a vacant look.

He could feel the divine power flowing within him, he could feel the chains of his curse tightly wrapping around him and he could feel the wound on his chest that constantly thumped and sent waves of pain throughout his body.

Despite all this, he remained silent and only looked at the floor, his mind empty as he seemed to be in a strange state of peace.
