"Have you seen enough? Are we going or not?" Evelyn Sherman stared at the absent-minded Lucas Scott. Seeing that he had no reaction for a while, she anxiously tugged at her skirt.

It wasn't revealing, so why was he staring so intently?

Hearing her words, Lucas realized that he had been spacing out in front of her and quickly hid his gaze nonchalantly.

"Put the fee under my name. Someone will come to settle the account later." Lucas was about to reach for Evelyn's hand when she quickly picked up her skirt and left the store before he could touch her.

Without waiting for Lucas to catch up, she walked to his car and waited for him to open the door.
