Chloe Collins partially opens her eyes and she can feel him checking her temperature.

"I'm fine. I just feel a bit drowsy."

Alexander Foster made sure again before he finally let go of his hand, saying, "Should I not leave tonight?"

She chuckled. "Then we are no longer getting married tomorrow?"

"Of course we are," he answered, smiling affectionately down into her eyes. "I've eagerly awaited this day for so long. I don't mind waiting for one more night."

He leaned down to kiss her gently before leaving a few minutes later in his vehicle.

Chloe Collins wasn't alone in the house.

Layla Lowell was also staying with her for the night, mainly to make sure that she could watch over Chloe's health at any time.

Layla planned to chat with Chloe for a bit, but when Chloe got out of the bath, she saw that Chloe was already asleep.
