Emmaline frowned down at her phone. 

In the days after he dumped her, Malcom had blocked her number as if he expected her to cry and call him like a girl who didn't know how to let go. 

In reality, Emmaline had deleted all their photos and never contacted him again. 

If they passed each other in public, he usually acted like she didn't exist at best. 

At worst… he made snide remarks about her to Priscilla and the two of them giggled until Emmaline felt sick to her stomach.
