After a short consideration, Nami finally moved back in front of Xiaoyun.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you like this. I-I just don't know why I was so paranoid and——"
As Nami looked up to Xiaoyun to apologize, Xiaoyun felt she was about to cry at any point as her eyes began to get watery.
"It's okay. I understand your concern... I would be disappointed in myself too if I view Lily like that."
Xiaoyun pulled Nami closer to comfort her as he gently patted her on the head.
"Is it just me, or does Nami always get out of trouble just like that? A little cry and Xiaoyun just gave in like that." Yuqi commented as she got a little jealous.
Yueyue nodded in agreement as she felt it was a little unfair how easily she was off the hook despite Nami stepping on their husband's most precious part.

IPI The next chapter finally returns to the plot. Then, it will be a long, drawn-out plot with a few short break scenes in between.
The "Reclaiming the City" part of the volume is finally restarting again... I totally didn't sidetrack with the assassination plot out of nowhere. I swear the secret society plays a big role in the future. I didn't have any other way to introduce it other than this. (Just not anytime soon)
