When General Ross heard Fury's plea, memories of Christopher dealing with the Abomination and facing off against the Hulk rushed back. Shaken, he told Fury, "I don't want to make enemies with Christopher now. Sorry."
"Even though Christopher has wronged you, you're not holding a grudge? How about teaming up to take him down? I don't want the serum he stole; it's yours. Deal?" Fury pressed.
After a pause, General Ross smirked, "Fine, give me ten serum vials quickly! Once I have them, I'm out."
In his head, Ross was already scheming. He'd gather his troops and wait for the right moment to strike, aiming to gain without much loss.
Reluctantly, Fury ordered his team to get ten vials, opting for the weakest type.
With the serum in hand, General Ross left with his top soldiers, leaving Fury and SHIELD to clean up the mess.
Despite Ross leaving, a tense atmosphere lingered in SHIELD. The crisis wasn't over, especially with the aircraft carrier damaged. Fixing it by Monday seemed impossible without SHIELD's resources.
Without the carrier, SHIELD's ability to fight was crippled, making them an easy target for Christopher.
Fury had no choice but to ask Iron Man Tony for help.
"Tony, you've seen SHIELD's situation. We can't handle Christopher alone. We might hold on, but you? He's after you, and your armor isn't a match. Without SHIELD, you're in danger!" Fury pleaded.
"No more talking. I'll help SHIELD however I can," Tony said seriously.
He regretted ever getting involved with SHIELD's investigation. Now, he had to stick with them to stay safe.
"Tony, the carrier's busted, and I need your Stark Industries crew to fix it. And also, make sure the country's leaders know SHIELD isn't splitting from the nation. Christopher and Ghost cooked that up," Fury explained.
"Got it," Tony nodded.
"Hawkeye, gather a team and bring Tony back," Fury ordered.
"Got it, Director," Hawkeye replied.
Tony, joined by Hawkeye and the team, boarded a plane headed for Stark Industries.
Thirty minutes later...
The plane landed on the rooftop pad of Stark Industries.
As Tony returned to the company, he noticed the curious stares from everyone.
Approaching Pepper, he sought answers and was shocked by what he heard.
Christopher hadn't just cleaned out Stark Industries of its weapons and gear but had also drained its accounts, all under Tony's name.
Once immensely wealthy, Tony was now broke.
Despite still technically owning the company, he couldn't even pay his employees.
To add to the mess, Christopher had taken off with all the weaponry and gear, along with deposits from various clients. Failure to deliver on time meant hefty penalties—penalties Tony couldn't cover.
His only hope now was the country's help.
With Hawkeye and the others, Tony hurried to meet America No. 1.
Meanwhile, on his private island, Christopher relished Tony's fury.
Having nearly brought down SHIELD and Tony before starting the war, seeing Tony's despair was deeply satisfying.
With the battle between General Ross and SHIELD over, Christopher, noticing Tony's defeated demeanor, decided to cut the conversation short. He knew the true power resided with organizations and warlords, not with America No. 1.
Instructing Optimus Prime to deactivate the holographic projector, Christopher refocused on his work. With the robots now capable of autonomous production, he turned his attention to fulfilling his promise to Natasha by crafting a female version of the steel armor.
His initial reluctance to equip Natasha with advanced machinery had dissipated since her allegiance to his cause. Thus, he resolved to create a girl's version of Transformers tailored to her needs.
After days of preparation, Christopher emerged from the laboratory the following day accompanied by a graceful robot. Natasha, engrossed in training the Lizard Legion and Flying Ant Swarm, eagerly approached to inspect the creation.
"Is this my steel armor?" Natasha asked with excitement.
"This isn't a steel armor; it's a girl's version of Transformers I've crafted for you," Christopher replied, beaming with pride.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Natasha embraced Christopher, expressing her affection. Unfazed by her display, Christopher explained the capabilities of the female Transformers variant, emphasizing its significant power compared to Iron Man's suit, albeit with slightly reduced size.
The female Transformers boasted five modes: airplane, sports car, earth drill, submarine, and humanoid robot. Additionally, Christopher highlighted the advanced intelligent system, akin to Optimus Prime's, but with an understanding that his commands held precedence.
He cautioned Natasha about its defensive capabilities, recommending vigilance against smaller missiles and cannons.
Expressing her satisfaction, Natasha thanked Christopher, emphasizing her pragmatic approach to acquiring the female Transformers for convenience and safety.
Encouraged by Christopher, Natasha eagerly prepared to try on her new gear. However, she sought guidance on its usage.
"You need to name her first, then issue commands, and she'll automatically cover you," Christopher explained.
Understanding, Natasha nodded, contemplating a fitting name for her new companion.
