章 23: Chapter 22: Sports festival Part 3
As the 2nd event was over by a nick of time before 3 groups of class 1-A fighting each other for more point. Ryu gave out a sigh of relief seeing those tense moments didn't gave him breaks at all. But at least it was entertaining and exciting for him much better than the TV he usually watches.
Flashback Home forge:
While forging his client's request and recreating historical armors and weapons even tools used many years ago he has a TV in his home forge to either watching the news or just watching something. While forging he watched the UA Sports festival in the TV while forging items for his clients.
UA Cafeteria 12:00 lunch
The Sports festival took a pause to set up the arena for the 1 on 1 battle and to eat lunch as well. Ryu eating his katsudon he then look at students around the cafeteria many have to eat a lot due to their quirks and some who were resting or preparing the self for those who made it into the 3rd event. As Ryu finished eating his katsudon he left before he left he saw two guys telling them something and three of the girls listening about it. Ryu ask to himself 'What the? What are those kids doing?' He look at the kid but He didn't mind it and left the cafeteria and went to the stadium and going to his spot.
UA stadium teacher's area
Ryu arrived at his seat and look at the recreational games for the UA Sports festival as well as cheerleaders for added entertainment until.
"Um... What?" Ryu asking while looking at the field. "What the hell are they doing?" Aizawa asking his students in the commentary room. What they see is the girls of class 1-A are wearing cheerleader uniforms and all of them have blank and expressionless faces. "Looks like Class 1-A is going full on Fan Service!" He shouted at the mic making Ryu feel suspicious about that conversation until he realised what it meant. 'Shit! If I haven' t intervened it shoudn't be happening' then he grabs his notebook and opens it to his "Hate List" and he asked one of the teachers "Hey
... Who are those 2 guys; one with the blonde hair and the other having balls in his hair?" he asked then the Teacher who was Vlad king said who they were "That's Mineta and Kaminari... Why would you need to know them?" he asked "Just putting them To my hate list, that's all. " he said while writing their names. "... OK..." he then watches back the sports festival.
In this even Ryu was a bit hype about the 1 on 1 battles he saw the previous one but those were with foam poles and knocking each other off the platform but this one was better. Because each students have to fight each other with their quirks until someone is incapable of fighting, apprehended, or getting out of bounds will let them proceed to the next match. Ryu while his arms crossed watching the final event unfold itself he remembers nezu said to him during the meeting for the sports festival.
Flashback: UA principals office
Ryu was called in the UA Office for some forge request straight from the principal. As he reached to the door Nezu greeted Ryu
"Ah! Mr. Muramasa, come take a seat" Ryu took a seat and asked "So you told me you need me to make something? So... What is it?" he asked Mr. Nezu for clarification until Nezu gave Ryu a folder with contents inside. As Ryu read the content then he looks at Nezu "So my request is for you to make us the Medals for the UA Sports festival" he said as Ryu is nodding him in acceptance "But it will cost extra since some of the alloys you requested here are going to be expensive as hell" he said but nezu cuts him off "Don't worry about it we'll give you the necessary materials for it to be completed" he said as Ryu nodded and left Nezu alone in his office.
As he left the office he got the materials sent by Powerloader in person Ryu began to work immediately working on the molds to cast on them using some wax he have he created the exact radius, thickness, engravings and details for the metal using his molding workstation and using his magnifying glasses to see and add in the smaller details. After making the 3 wax molds he mixes the dissolvable cement and vacuum it with 3 metal crucible frames placing the wax mold inside and using a heat gun to wrap the plastic from the sides and pour in the mixture with the molds inside and waits for it to cure while he is waiting he measure the amount of gold, silver, and bronze he have received and check the instructions for the exact or close amount. And turns on his industrial furnace used by jewelers to create some of their gold jewellery and other precious metals. He grabs one and rips the plastic and the silicone base from the crucible and begins to heat them inside the industrial furnace as it reaches the desired temperature he proceeds to add the gold first to a hopper and it reached to the heated part of the furnace. Once the gold is melted Ryu then pressed a button to activate the door inside the furnace where the heated gold is sent right into the crucible where the mold is inside as it reaches to the lower temperature he grabs his tongs and gets the crucible out of the furnace and with a clear box full of cooling water Ryu plunges the crucible which causes the crucible cement in the metal frame to crumble and fall appart from the water then Ryu remove the metal frame and grabbed the golden medal itself he repeated it for the silver and bronze as well to get the 3 medals he then went to his engraving station and began to remove some excess material and do some small detailing and format to add in the extravagant look and detail and finally he went to the buffing station to polish the medals with a mirror finish to make them beautiful and elegant to look at.
UA stadium Present
He remembers that he gave them to Nezu and he was amazed to sse those medals. Until then during the rewarding ceremony he is going to watch the sports festival and enjoying every moment in his break today.
