章 6: Chapter 5: More work and more problems
Ryu woke up the next morning and did his routine and continues making the armor of Ryukuyu he already finished the Breast plates he now has to make the other plate armors which can cost him more time but thanks to some heavy machinery he can finish them on time. While planning this he send a message to Ryukuyu about her armor will take more time than he thought. He then starts to fire up the forge and turning on the workshop to begin his work on the armor. He was finished with the Breastplate he now has to add plated skirt for protection on the hips and other platings. He only forge them by hand only since it works all the time for him he then hammers the sheets of metal into armor plates.
At the HPSC HQ
Ryukuyu, Yoroi Musha, and other top 10 heroe's are having a meeting with the HPSC about the villain situation of Japan on how these villains starting to invade UA and the precence of the League Of Villains. They started talking about how to defeat them and adding suggestion on how to lower the crime rate in each part of Japan.
"Well then since this meeting was about you heroes to be aware of today's situation please be aware about the increase of villain activities" a HPSC with barely any sleep said to the top 10 heroes "We understood sir" they all said in sync and as the HPSC officer left the room Ryukuyu checked her phone and sees the message and signs a bit "Hey Ryukuyu what's going on? Why are you somewhat upset?" the rabbit hero Miruko asked her "Nah its just my new hero costume just some special plated armor" she said making the other top ten heroes hearing her new costume "Oh so meaning he is still in progress well I know why anyways since armor takes a long time and mines was a sword I should be thankful" Yoroi said while comforting Ryukuyu "Wait plated armor wouldn't that break apart due to your quirk" Miruko said while her one eyebrow raised "Let me explain" Yoroi said
And he draws his katana and activated his quirk which made the katana shift and turn into another weapon making all of the top 10 heroes including Miruko to be shocked about his weapon
"A friend of mines told me about Ryu Muramasa a local Blacksmith that allows his quirk to do these types of feats." he said
And all of the sudden a phone began to ring from Ryukuyu's phone and the call was from Ryu and it's a video call. She then look at her fellow heroes many nodded to answer the call. In which she answered and sees Ryu who is in front of the camera and then angle is right to his workshop many of the heroes in the room can hear the heated metal getting hammered and the roaring fire of the forge.
"Hey Ryukuyu about your armor I'm done with the Breastplate I'm just making the other parts of the armor alright just don't be disappointed about it alright" he said while Ryukuyu looking a bit nervous and Ryu noticed "erm... Ryukuyu why are you nervous" he asked with his eyes squinting until "Ah! Young Ryu how are you doing young lad!" Yoroi said happily and seeing himself from Ryukuyu's phone "It's fine Yoroi Musha... Anyways how's the katana I gave you?" he asked and Yoroi Musha shows his katana and nodded until Ryukuyu said something "Yeah... You called in the wrong time... Actually" making Ryu raising one of his eyebrows "Why is it then a bad time to call?" he asked while making the other parts of the plated armor "Well... I'm in a meeting with the other heroes and most of them are from the top 10 and lets just say you calling in had peaked their interest for requests"
she then flips her phone showing some of the top 10 heroes and Ryu who stop working and see the top 10 heroes in person just in call making him stop from his work and his eyes widen with shock. With than some of the heroes look at him and one of them waved hello to him. With that Ryu Muramasa will now have a heavy problem soon that being the request of top heroes.
With that scene Ryu calmed himself and continues his working while listening to their mumble with the heroes are talking to each other about Ryu and his work. The Miruko asked Ryu
"Hey I heard you made Ryukuyu her armor right" then Ryu responded "Yes and what you are seeing right now is one of the pieces" he said then Miruko then asked him "Alright then can you make me some special boots for me then" Ryu was still upsetting the metal then stopped from the request and looks at Miruko "Really, you know today is my busiest time of day and I'm dealing not just Ryukuyu's armor but also some other request here, and also I need to measure your leg first before the making of it alright" he said and Miruko who is a bit irritated about the revelation. "Hey Mr. Blacksmith you can make anything right?" the hero with red wings named Hawks asking him "Mostly metals, leather anything related to Blacksmithing"he said to the red winged hero" Alright cool! Can you make me some twin swords for me" he asked the smithy "Yeah I'm alright about it but what design I have some here in my binder in my workshop I'll go grab it" he left to find his binder full of his sowrd/blade designs "see Miruko Just put yours in a simple thing or just put yours in a priority list he might have after that he might gonna make your boots." He smirks at the rabbit hero making her a bit angry from Hawk's teasing then Endeavor the no. 2 hero who thinks that his work is just a scam or fake while other heroes are either not interested or want to find out about the Blacksmith's creations are a real deal.
Ryu returns with his binder full of designs the went to the swords page and shows to hawks the first being broadsword blade, scimitar blade, saber blade, falcion blade, machete blade, and others, Hawks thinks of the options and told him to pick the falcion blade one and now he flip it once more the pommel, handle and guard design showing him a variety of different designs or he can customise one for him he told him to make the pommel with a hawk's head and the handle with his feather design and as for the wood he wants any type of hardwood as his handle.
Ryu listened and listed the based design for his swords and gave him a thumbs up. After that Ryukuyu then asked about her armor when will he deliver it
"Probably next week since I have to deal with some padding actually for you to put on for added protection" and ended his call from Ryukuyu
