Ten years had passed since Geto's fateful encounter with Fenrir, and in that time, he had amassed a considerable collection of cursed spirits, especially those of special grade. His relentless pursuit of cursed spirits had taken him on a globetrotting journey, from the dark alleys of Japan to the ancient ruins of Greece, the untamed wilderness of Africa, and the bustling streets of America. Geto was a collector, and he hunted these malevolent entities like rare treasures, guided by the threads of folklore and mythology.
His current location found him in a quaint coffee shop in Tokyo, strategically situated near the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, more commonly known as Jujutsu Tech or Jujutsu High. It was here that Geto kept a watchful eye on a certain Masamichi Yaga, who was presently a teacher, not yet the principal. Geto's presence here was no coincidence; he was on a mission to exorcise a Grade 1 cursed spirit he had managed to subdue, but not yet consumed. This spirit represented his ticket to infiltrate Jujutsu High.
From his discreet vantage point, Geto observed as Yaga approached the imposing building. A sly grin played across his face, and he muttered, "Showtime." With a swift incantation, Geto summoned a portal, instantly transporting himself into Yaga's line of sight just as the latter began ascending the stairs.
Geto wasted no time; he placed his hands on the cursed spirit, transforming it into a swirling black orb. Yaga's voice rang out, alarmed and authoritative. "Stop! What are you planning to do with that, young man? That thing is dangerous!"
"On my authority as a Jujutsu sorcerer, I urge you to let go of that. You don't understand the risks," Yaga admonished.
Geto turned to face Yaga, his eyes gleaming with an enigmatic confidence. "Oh, this? I've been doing this all my life. Trust me; I know the dangers."
Yaga couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. "He's done this his entire life? Is he a cursed user? But he seems so young. Nevertheless, I can't afford to lower my guard."
"You know that using Jujutsu without barriers is illegal," Yaga lectured sternly.
Geto's grin remained, devoid of malevolence. "Oh, but I've been doing it without a barrier, and it seems there's no problem."
"Tch. This is going to be a tough fight," Yaga muttered, withdrawing a teddy bear from his coat. "A teddy bear going to cuddle me to death," Geto mocked, but his mind was poised for whatever Yaga might unleash.
Without hesitation, Yaga sent his teddy bear spirit into action, and it transformed into a muscular, menacing form. Geto countered swiftly by summoning a colossal spider cursed spirit that sprawled out to capture both Yaga and the teddy bear.
"That was easy," Geto remarked, striding confidently towards Yaga. "Now, would you suddenly attack me when it seems like we have so many similarities?"
Yaga remained cautious. "You're a curse user. Why shouldn't I attack you?"
"Curse user? What is that?" Geto feigned ignorance. "Wait, you're not a curse user?" Yaga inquired, perplexed.
"Why would I be a curse user? I'm actually ridding the world of these monsters," Geto said, gesturing to the restrained cursed spirits behind him.
"You seem to be a good kid after all," Yaga sighed in relief. "I'm Masamichi Yaga, a teacher at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College—a school for people like us to study and master our abilities. Would you like to join?"
Geto's grin widened. "Sure, I don't really have anything better to do right now." A sinister laugh echoed in Geto's mind as inside of his mind Ian's voiced rung out and says "speech 100"
Little did Yaga know that this encounter would set in motion a series of events that would forever change the fate of Jujutsu High and plunge the world of sorcery into chaos.
