章 40: I never introduced you as my wife

The following morning, Suzy awoke at her usual hour to find Chris still nestled in bed. His face was turned towards her, the comforter not covering his upper body. Leaning in, she gently drew up the covers, her fingers delicately brushing his hair from his forehead as she gazed upon his face.

Without delaying further, she left the bed to resume her morning routine. 

When Suzy exited the washroom, she didn't find Chris in the room. She dried her hair using the towel and went to the dresser. "Where did he disappear in the morning?" she thought and settled on the vanity chair. 

The door opened and Chris entered in his short-sleeve t-shirt and joggers. She found he just had come from his personal gym room, covered in sweat. As he raised his head to drink water, Suzy's gaze fixated on Adam's apple, rhythmically moving with each sip.

Quickly she averted her gaze when he lowered his head and picked up the serum to apply on her face.
