章 58: Chapter 58

A shrieking noise echoed in the hallway, running footsteps stumped on the floors, followed by the door slamming open and closing.

She knew only one person who could sound like a storm was coming or as if the house was on fire, bringing chaos to everything around her.

As expected, she felt her world turn upside down in just a few minutes. It seemed like she was riding a rough tidal wave as she tossed and turned on her side.

"Is it true?" Jules finally heard his angelic voice as she forced her eyes open. 

Oliver was standing on top of her, urging her to wake up. He continued to jump and down on her bed until she could not take it anymore.

"What is true, my sweetie?" She finally asked in her sleepy voice, still hoarse from her lack of sleep and slightly sore.

She remembered it was late by the time they finished their hot chocolate. But instead of helping her sleep, she stayed awake until she saw a glimpse of light outside her window.
