All the maids around were screaming and hiding, but Dylan barely took any notice of it. The way to Isabella's chamber felt too long even when it was literally just the next chamber.

Calhoun came out hearing the screams and commotion outside only to be shocked looking at the corridor set on fire.

He looked at the trail of the fire and found Dylan running like a madman towards Isabella's chamber.

Well, he had always been mad and crazy when it came to her, but Calhoun had his jaw dropped to floor looking at those ethereal majestic wings on his back.

Isabella had already described about his wings to him before, but those were only and only visible to her. This was his first time seeing them with his own eyes.
