The squirkish sound of someone's footsteps, inside his room was the only thing he needed to know that he was not alone and he's being attacked, so he went for his gun under his pillow and waited for the intruder to get closer to where he was, as he pretended to be still asleep.

When the intruder raised his knife up, he kicked him at his knee as he staggered back and launched forward, but Giovanni was fast in shooting him in between his eyes, as he fell dead on his floor.

He was still looking at the dead body, this time he didn't feel bad for spilling blood any longer, before he felt someone at his back. He ducked the attack before laying a kick at his back before falling to the floor, but his glass windows shattered before another figure made his way into his room.

Giovanni wasn't able to identify who they were, but he doesn't need to stress himself about that, they were his enemy gang, the Black shields seeing as they are fully trained to take him on.
