Chapter 52. Triplets
Ace saw Sabo's pipe attack coming from a mile away and easily countered with a punch to the chin, powered up with Haki.
Sabo wasn't ready for such a move. It might be because he underestimated Ace.
Quite frankly, Sabo had realised that he was way stronger than most people his age. He had surpassed the whole Revolutionary army in a few years. And he didn't think there were any his age that could fight him equally.
He knew about Ace's feats before he went to Dressrosa, but he still didn't think that Ace would be this strong. It might be because of his lack of experience with storing opponents, but he underestimated Ace and tasted the consequences of that.
Sabo fell back as his head spun around, that punch to his chin wasn't light.
As soon as Sabo fell on the ground, Ace mercilessly kicked Sabo's face.
'a foot?' was his last thought before he got knocked out.
"Tsk, you got se weak during these years." Ace said, not happy with the outcome.
He was about to pick up Sabo as if he had forgotten the others, but Koala ran towards him ready to fight to death to save her superior in rank.
Ace stepped back as he saw Koala standing protectively in front of Sabo.
He could see fear in her eyes but a firm will to not move.
Ace couldn't help but to smile. The others also surrounded them, ready to give their lives to protect Sabo and Koala.
Koala and the others understood that if Ace could take out Sabo that easily, then only their Supreme commander could handle someone like Ace, so they were quite fearful right now.
"Why are you willing to give your lives for him?" Ace asked with a smile. He tried to sound evil, but he couldn't when he saw that his brother had people that cared so deeply for him.
"He will lead us to change the world." One for the underlings cried out.
"He's my... Superior." Koala spoke with a hint of uncertainty, and a slight blush.
"... I see, then you have no need to worry." Ace said as he raised his hands looking harmless.
"Huh?"
"Me and Sabo are brothers!" Ace admitted, getting ready to get a happy response.
"Liar!" Koala cried out. She could see zero resemblance between the two.
"Eh... But it's true." Ace got shocked.
"NOWAY NOWAY! Why did you attack him in that case" She refused to believe him.
"I haven't seen him in almost eight years, and he hasn't even contacted us, of course I'm going to be mad."
Koala relaxed a bit, as only a few people knew that Sabo was found and picked up almost 8 years ago. Ace's words atleast showed that before 8 years ago, they might've known eachother.
"But you don't look alike." Koala seems to still suspect him.
"Sabo, Me and Luffy are sworn brothers, we grew up together." Ace explained casually.
"Luffy?" They questioend while looking around incase there was another stranger around beside Ace.
"Monkey D. Luffy, he should be Dragon's son, don't you know him?" Ace asked as if they are stupid.
"Oh, it's the supreme Commanders son, why didn't you says so earlier." Koala and the others relaxed.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Miss Koala, I feel like we heard something we shouldn't have."
One of the udnerlings admitted.
"..."
That's when Ace's words hit them.
"WAAAAAAAA?!!!!!" All of them flew back in suprise.
Leaving the unconscious Sabo unprotected.
Ace walked forward and picked up Ace.
The others were still in absolute shock. They didn't know their Supreme commander had a son, and that Sabo was the sworn brother of that son.
They were looking at eachother on total confusion, and by the time they had come back to their senses, Ace was gone with Sabo.
"Miss Koala, what should we do now?"
"We can only hope that the flame Emperor spoke the truth, let's return to the ship and contact the Supreme commander for further instructions." She bitterly said, she knew that even if they followed Ace, they wouldn't be able to save Sabo, so they could only hope for for the best.
Ace returned to where they had docked the black pearl.
When his crew saw him returning they got ready to sail, but when they saw him carrying someone on his shoulders all of them started sighing.
"I guess we'll have another crewmates huh." Ronaldino said out loud as he spun his gun round his finger. Baby 5 stood beside him, staring at him as if he's gold.
"How does it feel being on this side of the show?" Yennow asked Law as he lightly slapped his shoulder.
Law's eye twitched as he felt a strong sense of deja vu.
After all, last time, it was him that was being carried around like a sack of potatoes.
Law didn't answer, and instead went back and sat down in a corner with some shade.
"Captain, who is the new mate?" Gaga asked as Ace had arrived at the black pearl.
"It's not a crewmates, it's my brother!" Ace happily revealed, getting the surprised looks of everyone on board.
"NANI, THERES TWO OF YOU?!" Nami seemed to become frightened for some reason.
"Actually, we're three brothers." Ace corrected proudly.
And Nami fainted.
It was just recently confirmed by Ace that his father was Gol D. Roger, the pirate king. This news had shocked every living being that heard it. The Demon Ace Pirates still barely believed it.
And the words that Ace just uttered would imply that the Pirate king not only had one child, but triplets. This is catastrophic information.
"But captain, I think the pirate king wore a green hat, you don't look alike at all." Bepo spoke his mind.
"We don't share parents, we're sworn brothers from childhood." Ace explained.
Sabo started waking up from all the talking.
Ace noticed this and threw down Sabo on deck.
"Should we set sail?" Nami regained her consciousness and asked. Afterall, usually whenever her captain brought someone over, it was without the consent of the other person.
So it might be better to set sail so that Ace's brother can't escape.
"No, not this time, but I like your thinking." Ace said with a thumbs up.
"Where am I?" Sabo asked as he rubbed his chin that was bruised.
*WHACK*
"What are you doing captain, why did you smack your brother?" Spikewards asked.
"Of course, it is because we can't have two blondes on this ship, and between the two of us, Captain will chose the most beautiful." Cavendish explained.
"Or maybe not." Gaga retorted. She and Yennow are also blonde after all
"I'm angry with him, that's why!" Ace truthfully explained.
"Throw a bucket of sea water on him." Ace commanded as Sabo had fallen unconscious again.
