Maximus froze in his actions immediately he saw Tony standing at the doorway.

The quenching fire of hope immediately lit up again in Ariana's eyes just by seeing Tony.

"Tony?" She whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks as she felt her heart flutter to know Tony came for her, he came to her rescue in her deepest time of need, making her love for him only grow stronger and deeper.

The room went silent, as Tony entered seeing Ariana tied to the chair with ripped clothes made his heart skip, wondering what had happened before his arrival.

The two figures stood facing each other, the tension between them palpable. Tony reached slowly into his pocket and pulled out a small object.

Ariana squinted, trying to make out what it was.

"I'm warning you, don't make me use this." Tony's tone was steady and calm but also dangerous at the same time.
