Yi Hong's eyes flickered. "Yeah, it's just for a meal. What did you think?"

"Cut the crap. Won't you spill the beans?" 

"What do you want me to say?" Yi Hong waved away his ham-like hand, finding it amusing.

Originally, he had intended to introduce Shen Wan to some connections, but she didn't seem interested, even pushing Zhou Chi forward. If she wasn't willing, why go to the appointment at all? It seemed like an unnecessary effort.

Yi Hong couldn't figure out the reason.

Since Shen Wan didn't want to reveal her identity, he certainly wouldn't pry in front of Ma Xiangqian. "Alright, alright. Can't we just keep things simple? After being in the business world for so long, do we have to overthink everything? It's exhausting."

Ma Xiangqian continued to stare at him with suspicion.

Yi Hong called the driver over. "Don't be stubborn. Let's send you back to the hotel."
