"That ship won't make it across Reverse Mountain" commented Dragon.
"Yes, it's a miracle we made it this far" nodded Ivankov.
"Listen everyone we will move to this ship!" said Ivankov loudly looking at all the people.
An express move began, Yamamoto could count that in total there were 22 new people not counting Ivankov, Lego, and Ralph.
As they had not had much time to take their things, the objects brought by the families were not many. In a few minutes, with everyone's help, they were able to finish the move.
The ex-Marines happily greeted their families they had not seen for a long time.
"Mother, father, brother how long!" said a former Marine named Henry with a big smile as he hugged his relatives.
"Son! Did you eat well!" said a middle-aged woman with tears in her eyes.
"Yes, with Mr. Yamamoto we didn't lack anything, I'm glad he accepted our selfish request" said Henry with a smile his little brother was glued on his leg.
Hearing Yamamoto's name, Henry's mother and father looked towards an old man, clearly, it was Yamamoto who a few days ago had shocked the world by assassinating Sengoku.
Their looks showed fear, Henry noticed the frightened faces of his parents, "Don't believe those liars from the World Government! The Marine attacked us first, if it wasn't for Mr. Yamamoto we would still be following the orders of that damned Nelson" said Henry.
Hearing Nelson's name Henry's parents gave ugly looks, just like the new leader of the 80th division, Nelson also ruled the island with an iron fist despite being a marine.
"Then they will realize the benevolence of Mr. Yamamoto" said Henry as he began to carry his family's bags to the ship's quarters.
Yamamoto felt many looks of fear coming from the families of the ex-Marines, he knew it was normal from the recent news that came out.
Luckily Lego, Ralph, Henry, and the other ex-Marines respected him and decided to follow him, so they could help improve his reputation.
However, he knows that in order to increase the number of people under his protection, he will have to perform acts to earn the respect of these people, so he can clean up the opinion that the World Government formed about him.
Many children were surprised to see Saul's giant and looked at him in amazement. Robin and Apis looked curiously at the new people, and especially at the boys and girls their age.
"Listen we must keep an eye on them during these days, anything suspicious you see let me know" Yosano said as she spoke to Tesoro and Stella.
She still had the conversation at breakfast today in her head, besides if she finds out anything she might earn some praise from Yamamoto.
"Why are you so suspicious? To me they are just normal villagers" commented Tesoro while looking at the elderly, children, middle-aged men and women.
"You are very naive, Tesoro. That's why your criminal gang abandoned you" said Yosano with disdain.
"How do you know that!?" asked Tesoro, "Wait, Stella Did you tell her?" he added as he looked at the younger blonde-haired girl.
" Yes, sorry... since we sleep in the same room now we talk a lot" replied Stella feeling a little guilty.
"Don't go around telling Stella strange things, I don't want you to pass your strange tastes to her" said Tesoro looking at Yosano with a frown.
"Tsch how annoying. Come on Stella, with our beauty it will be easy to gain the trust of these villagers and get information out of them" said Yosano as she grabbed Stella's hand and left Tesoro alone.
*I can't let Stella be influenced by that crazy woman* thought Tesoro as he followed them.
"Everything is ready, we even brought some food for the trip" said Ivankov with a smile.
The ship started sailing again in the direction of the Reverse Mountain entrance, *I will finally enter the Grand Line* thought Yamamoto with excitement.
Once he does he can cross off his list of things to do in the world of One Piece before he dies.
Most people were nervous as they knew that the Grand Line was known as the most dangerous ocean and the graveyard of pirates.
The only ones with calm expressions were Dragon, Kuma, Ivankov, Saul, Clover, Olvia, and Yamamoto, the latter hiding his excitement.
As the ship approached the heart of Reverse Mountain, the currents became wilder, and the ship shook under the pressure of the water. Feeling the raging currents, Yamamoto knew that the ship Ivankov brought would not have lasted long.
Amidst the raging ocean currents, a shadowy figure appeared on the horizon: a gigantic Sea King, one of the most fearsome creatures of the seas.
*Another one* thought Yamamoto a little tired of how annoying these larger-than-life fish were.
The Lego families, Ralph and the others saw the gigantic monster and made scared faces, Yamamoto looked at Saul and Saul understood his look.
In a few minutes, the Sea King left this world.
After the defeat of the Sea King, the ship maintained its course towards the top of the Reverse Mountain. Finally, the ship emerged without much trouble at the top of the mountain, finding itself in front of the entrance to the Grand Line.
"That was easier than I expected" Ralph said.
"Well, it's normal when you travel with so many monsters" said Lego looking at Yamamoto, Dragon, Saul, etc.
Already at the top, the four currents of the four seas converge into a single downward current heading towards the Twin Capes.
*Now all that's left to do is go down, the fun part* thought Yamamoto.
The ship sailed into the downdraft and everyone understood that it would be a steep, high-speed descent, so many grabbed wherever they could so as not to fall off.
Finally, the ship began to descend at great speed due to the force of the current dragging it down. As the ship was going down at an incredible speed, a boy about Robin and Apis' age, unintentionally let go of where he was holding on and started heading towards the bow at full speed.
"No Nick!" shouted a middle-aged woman.
Yamamoto noticed the boy and with great speed saved him from falling off the ship, not caring that the ship was falling at high speed Reverse Mountain took him to his mother.
"T-thank you" said the surprised mother as she grabbed the boy who had a frightened look on his face.
"It's nothing" said Yamamoto kindly.
*That will score points, I hope some kid falls again* thought Yamamoto.
Finally, the descent ended and they reached the twin capes, "Good, looks like they are all fine" said Ivankov checking to make sure no one had fallen and they hadn't noticed.
"Kuma, is the Log Pose ready?" asked Dragon.
"Yes, all ready" nodded Kuma while on his wrist he had the Log Pose strapped.
After that extreme descent, their journey continued smoothly. Yamamoto was a little disappointed in the Grand Line, the best thing was to see the gigantic mountain, after that it was not much different than the 4 Blues, at most its currents or its weather were more dangerous.
There were still several days to go before reaching Aurora Island, however, there were no problems. First of all, the marine ship which had a large size caused great fear to the pirates, so no one attacked them.
As for the Marine itself must know or so Yamamoto thinks that it is about them, but he doubts that they would think of attacking it in a short period of time. He killed one of their admirals and already defeated them several times, so they will think twice before making another attack.
In these days of travel, he continued with his Spiritual Power training, he also wrote a copy of the manual to give it to Dragon.
For some strange reason, every day Yosano came to Stella to inform her about Ralph's relatives, Lego, and so on. Yamamoto did not turn her down as some of what she said might come in handy to later gain the respect of these people.
"Day 3 and we found nothing suspicious about those villagers. I also checked their belongings while they were eating and there is nothing suspicious either" Yosano reported seriously.
Stella who was beside her smiled as she couldn't think of what else to do.
"Well, it seems that none of them is a spy for the Marine or the World Government" said Yamamoto while writing something in a book.
"We can't be so sure, I'll keep investigating" said Yosano who wanted to find something suspicious to shut Tesoro's mouth and have Yamamoto praise her.
"I'll wait for your next report" said Yamamoto not knowing much to say.
"One more thing..." said Yosano looking at Yamamoto.
"What is it?" asked Yamamoto curiously as he stopped writing.
"Please show me that spiritual power!" replied Yosano plucking up her courage.
These days she had seen Yamamoto helping Olvia, Robin, and Tesoro in the Spiritual Power training. Seeing Tesoro being guided by the Fire Demon himself she felt very jealous.
*Oh a medical expert on Kidō... reminds me of someone* thought Yamamoto scratching his beard.
"Alright, you must already know where we'll meet, I'll see you there" said Yamamoto.
They were currently using a very spacious training room that was on this ship.
"Thank you!" said Yosano as she retreated with Stella.
