章 3: The Fall Of Wall Maria
In the Shiganshina district. David is hanging around with Eren and Mikasa.
Armn was found being bullied by three boys, and as a result, a fight incurred between me and the bullies.
MC POV
Mikasa was about to attack, but I stopped her.
She looked confused about why I stopped her as I walked forward to one of the bullies.
As I was in front of one of them, I gave them a right hook on the face.
You see, I've been exercising in order to make this body more fit and stronger.
The other bullies looked shocked and angry at what they saw, and before they could make a move, I charged towards them.
I went for an axe kick, which knocked out one of them, and a roundhouse kick, which made the last one lose a couple of teeth.
The last two picked up their unconscious friend and ran off.
Eren, Mikasa, and Armin were shocked at what they had witnessed.
Eren asked if I could teach him how to do that.
"Maybe later, Eren, but now let's go home. It's starting to get dark."
"Yeah, you're right, but still, how did you learn how to do that. Do you have a secret teacher or something."
We began walking to Eren's home. The Colossal Titan should appear soon.
BOOM!!!
And it appeared, I pretended to be stunned alongside my 'friends'.
Then things went on as usual, Bertholdt kicked the wall, and Titans began walking in and eating people.
I was afraid when I saw these giant monsters, but I steeled my resolve.
Eren, Mikasa, and I rushed to Eren's home and found Carla trapped.
I tried lifting the rubble to make me look good and to improve the others' view of me so that they may be more trusting.
Although it was futile, Hannes showed up and was about to attack but froze when he saw the Titan.
Carla yelled at Hannes to take the kids and run away, and he did as she asked.
Hannes grabbed Mikasa and Eren.
"Oi KID FOLLOW ME IF YOU WISH TO LIVE!!!"
I was going to do that anyways old man. We ran, and when we looked back, we saw Carla being eaten by Dina Fritz's pure Titan.
She is one of the keys to me activating the Founding Titan. The others are Zeke and Historia.
As we got onto the boat, Eren angrily declared that he would eradicate all the titans.
I'm sorry, Eren, but you won't, as without your Titan powers, you will die in the stomach of a Titan.
Or if Grisha doesn't give me the power, I will eat your spine in order to gain your power, which will kill you.
Once we got off the boat, we were quickly greeted by our parents.
Grisha was there as well. I think at this point, he ate Frieda Reiss and killed most of her family except for that fatass Rod.
He was saddened to hear the death of his second wife and then looked at me, and Eren.
I believe he is choosing which one to pass down the power to.
My mother was there as well. She was a sobbing mess and told me my father was dead.
I pretended to be saddened by this.
From the original David' memories, his uncle was a politician, so there's a chance he may pull some strings in order to save my mother from that suicide mission.
The uncle's name was Tyler, and he was my father's brother.
So, I will be able to continue with my education and learning.
This is perfect as I'll be able to graduate with top marks and degrees due to my knowledge.
I will build a business that deals with medicine and technology.
Then, I would slowly build my political power and gain support from the public.
Though I would have to be careful of the Military Police and the nobles. They might see me as a threat due to my growing power.
As a result, they will be destroyed like my other political opponents.
The Warriors might try to eliminate me as well due to my knowledge, so I'll have to be careful and play my cards right.
This is one of the reasons why I want Titan powers to fight back against the Warriors. Also, I want to learn how to use the ODM gear.
Grisha had been silently crying for a while and looked at me with a sad look.
Looks like he made his choice to give me the power.
Just then, Hannes showed up with some bread. He looked sad and traumatised.
Hannes was filled with regret and sees himself as a coward for not saving Carla.
It's not my problem to deal with.
We began to eat, and Eren still had that burning look in his eyes.
After we finished eating, we stayed silent. As we got off the ship, Grisha asked me to meet him in the nearby forest.
I pretended to be confused and agreed to do so.
When we slept inside the refugee camps, I sneaked out to meet Grisha Yeager.
I was at the entrance of the forest where Grisha greeted me.
He then took me deep in the forest and then broke down.
I looked worried for him and comforted him.
"Mr Yeager, what's wrong. Why are you crying?"
He then looked at me with broken eyes.
Those broken eyes remind me of that fucking mole in my company. After I killed his entire family.
Grisha then proceeded to tell me the truth of the world beyond the walls and the Titans.
He also told me about how he killed the Reiss family.
I pretended to be shocked at this revelation.
Grisha spoke with a regretful tone.
"I am telling you this because I chose you to inherit my power. I know this is a lot to take in, and you don't have to -"
"I'll do it, Mr Yeager."
I had a tone full of rage and determination.
God, I was such a good actor.
Grisha looked shocked at my answer, as well as my tone.
I continued.
"If what you're saying is true, then the royal family are traitors to the Eldian race. Mark my words, I will make Eldia great again."
I placed my hands on his shoulders.
"I promise you, Marley will pay for what they have to done to the Eldians. I will revive the Eldian Empire."
Grisha just looked at me and nodded.
He got out a syringe.
"Are you ready, David."
"Yes, Mr Yeager."
He injected the syringe into me, and after it was done, a bolt of lightning hit me and blacked out.
3rd person POV
David, who had turned into a pure Titan, began to munch down on Grisha Yeager.
After he finishes, the Titan collapses and, from its nape, comes out David.
He had a huge smile on his face.
Then he heard footsteps, it was Keith Shadis.
He was confused about what's going on.
David then spoke.
"Sir, can you take me to Erwin Smith."
"Why do you want to see him."
David then showed him his regeneration by biting of one his fingers. It was painful but necessary.
Keith was shocked at what he saw.
"I promise to explain everything once I see Erwin Smith."
Keith Shadis reluctantly obliged but remained on guard.
He didn't trust this kid at all.
So they began walking together.
David saw Keith as expendable, but he saw Erwin as a useful chess piece, dangerous, but valuable.
