"So? Have you been able to rectify what's the problem with the security system?" Alexander leaned into Evangeline's chair as she worked on the company's computer.

He liked how concentrated and devoted she looked while working on the computer. Her passion for her work was very well visible from the way she was typing the codes without even darting her gaze.

"Hmmm, I think someone indeed tried to breach the security. Did you have some kind of feud with anyone recently?" Evangeline asked, turning her head to Alexander, her breath hitching when he noticed how close Alexander's face was to hers.

She looked straight into his eyes, her gaze darting to his lips for a minuscule second, and she quickly looked away, making Alexander smile inwardly.
