章 67: Trade Empire 4: Let me Show you what will Come
After our fight we both soon entered Oden's Castle where his retainers met up with us, though it seems they didn't have the greatest impression of me since I injured their lord after all.
"Hey don't look at him like that, I was the one who wanted to duel with my new friend Hifumi here, so the wounds I get from it all are on me." He said just laughing it off as he ignored the worried looks of his retainers.
"Well if it makes them feel better, I can use my powers to heal all the wounds on you if you want Oden." I said as I looked up at him, mind you I'm only 6ft tall where as he is 12'6"ft tall.
"Really? You can heal my wound that quickly?" Oden said looking genuinely surprised I could heal him that quickly, his wounds weren't that deep but even with his vitality it would take two days to fully heal after all.
"Sure, here let me show you." I say as I grab his arm as I green light flows through his body as they watch in astonishment as all of his bleeding wounds seal up and disappear as if they never happened at all.
After feeling that his body was brimming full of vitailty I let go as he looked himself over and besides the now dried blood on his skin he was completely healed.
"Wow! This is amazing Hifumi! How did you do that? Is this something people in the outside world can do?" Oden marveled at the sight of all of his wounds being completely healed, everyone else who was here thought the same.
"Nope, only I can do that, though it can be learned, after we talk business I could try and teach you, but in the end it's all based upon your potential to see if you can actually learn it." I say with a grin as I sit down as we reached Odens hall where Oden then went and sat at his seat.
"You guys can return to your normal stuff, me and Hifumi here are just going to talk business for a bit." Oden said as he dismissed his retainers who agreed and began to leave.
"Actually he can stay, what I have to talk about needs another persons input after all." I say pointing to Kin'emon.
"Well that's fine by me, Kin'emon come take a seat." Oden said patting the floor as we were all sitting on floor cushions together, even Oden who was the Daimyo didn't have his seat ascended due to his higher status as unlike others he doesn't view himself as above others.
Saying that me, Oden and Kin'emon were all that was left in the room as everyone else left to do their own things.
"Now then Hifumi, why is it that a man from outside Wano came here to talk to me the Daimyo of Kuri about some business?" Oden said as he decided to ask the question, while at the same time he placed out three cups and poured some fine sake into before placing it on the small table before us.
"Well it's because even before entering Wano, I knew that Kozuki Oden is the only man who would be willing to talk to me about business out of everyone my sight saw before coming here." I say before I grab a cup of sake as we all raised it together before downing the hatch.
"Puah, Sight? What sight are you talking about exactly?" Kin'emon was confused about what I was talking about, same could be said about Oden as well as he raised an eyebrow.
"Why future sight of course, it's a part of the same skill that I used to heal you Oden, the power allows one to unlock the full potential within themselves, and one of those abilities let's one view into the future, I looked at my future and saw what would happen if I tried to set my shop anywhere in Wano and all but here would turn me away so I came here to talk with you Oden, and well my bet wasn't wrong as you are genuinely interested in what I have to offer along with what I will tell you both after we finish our main business here." I said to them, it was somewhat of a lie as if I focus both my haki and magic together I can see up to a minute into the future in battle and several days into the future if I fully focus with my magic in a secure environment with the knowledge I gained from King Solomon, though I really haven't needed to do that yet and in all honesty doing so is extremely mentally exhausting to see that far into the future so it's something I can do in emergency situations.
"Really? That's amazing!" Oden said excitedly and Kin'emon felt the same way as it's extremely unlikely I would have chosen Oden but instead would have gone for the Flower Capital as it's where the rich live and the best place to gain silver, gold and platinum.
"With that said, I would like permission from you to build a store in your territory so the people of Kuri can buy things that can be found both in and outside of Wano, though I don't have any currency that the people of Wano use however…." I say as I scratch the back of my head, then I see my haori still covered in blood so I just snap my fingers and saw the looks on their faces as all the blood stains just lifted off and disappeared.
Oden has seen me do a lot of amazing things today, so all he did was just grinned, "Don't worry about the cost of setting up shop! If you can tell me about the world outside and teach me what you can about those powers of yours and that will be all I need, and if you want to still pay me back later for the plot of land that's fine by me as well." Oden said with a bright smile as Kin'emon nodded as well.
"Well then I shall thank you in advance for allowing me to set up my shop here in your lands." I say with a smile and nod, though my face became more serious which made both Oden and Kin'emon look at me with questioning looks.
"Oden as much as I want to tell you about the outside world theirs something else that I need to tell you as well, my Future sight didn't just see who would accept my business but when I saw you in it, it went further, much further beyond I had ever done for some one, it showed me your entire life story from here to its end and…. It didn't end well…." I said as I had a somewhat gloomy look on my face as actually meeting Oden himself there was no way in hell I would let him go out like that.
Seeing how serious I was being and not believing I was joking both of them looked at me seriously, "What did you see Hifumi to make you feel like this." Oden said with genuine concern as he actually saw me as a friend already.
"…. It would be better if I showed you, both of you as Kin'emon I saw even past Odens death and into your future, that's the reason why I had you stay here more than anything, to show you both the truth of what your futures will hold if you do nothing to change it." I say as I look at them seriously as I stand up and they follow suit.
I then go and face a blank wall in the room as they follow, "Put your hands on my shoulders, I'll show you both what I saw." I say to them as they see my eyes begin to turn completely white as they began to glow.
They didn't think I was kidding at all now so they nodded and placed their hands on my shoulders before I look towards the wall and took a deep breath in and out as I let my spiral energy fill the room as the world lost its color and began to look like we were all standing with the starry night sky with millions of stars surrounding us.
"Now, let me show you both what I saw, this is the future of you and the people of Wano if things are allowed to pass." I say before we are pulled towards the stars as a bright white light envelopes us as most of their story is laid bare before them.
