章 25: Dragon's Tongue
"In the name of our God, Treyni, please restrain this demon's movements!" Rin uttered, raising her hand above her head as light enveloped her entire existence.
Several roots began flowing above the ground, heading in my direction, while I stood firmly.
"Everyone get back!" yelled Arthur, who instantly took a few steps back as the overgrown roots began circling around me.
As the roots covered my body, I smiled one last time before I let the roots fully get ahold of me, making Rin and Arthur, who noticed my expression, flinch.
"Now! Release all your strongest attacks and slay that demon!" Rosalie shouted, casting several fireballs that were aimed at me.
Meanwhile, Fenil was fending off the templar knights, who seemed to be no match for her, but for some reason, she continued to play along and did not end their lives immediately.
Arthur and the others attacked, causing a loud explosion and a tremor that shook the ground, leaving the area covered in dust.
They panted and stared intently at the mist concealing my entirety. But with a wave of my arm, the dust that enshrouded the place instantly scattered, revealing myself.
"How can he be this tough?" Lucas uttered as he saw my body unscathed.
"I already told you that these measly attacks are of no threat to me." I said, wiping off several dust particles that got in my armor.
"You demon!" A templar knight shouted, heading straight to attack me.
"Stop." I muttered, using the dragon's tongue, which made everyone, including Fenil, flinch.
Sweat dropped profusely as they could not budge their bodies while I was able to move and release the dragon's aura.
Causing them to suffocate, unable to breathe properly, while a tremendous fear was inflicted upon them.
Rosalie and Rin began screaming, agonizing over reality, knowing they were about to get killed after my dragon's aura reached them.
[Any opponents would feel immeasurable fear, causing their minds to become dysfunctional, leaving only death to await them.]
"Kneel." I said using the dragon's tongue, forcing everyone around me to be on their knees.
Well, this is useful." I mumbled in my head.
Earlier, after I got covered in overgrown roots, I thought of a way that wouldn't let me kill the wild life party. But with my overwhelming strength, knocking them out would be a gamble.
And so, Grand proposed that I use the dragon's tongue to incapacitate them by inflicting intense fear and overwhelming them with the dragon's aura.
Which led me to the current situation.
I glanced behind me and noticed that Fenil was also restrained.
Hey, Grand! Can you exclude Fenil?" I asked through thought communication.

Just like that, Fenil was released from the excruciating fear that was inflicting others around us.
A man dressed in templar armor seemed to have a strong will and was able to endure the dragon's tongue authority, refusing to succumb to submission. He began raising his head and looked into my eyes.
"How dare you! You demon! The knights will come to you and execute you!" He said, gritting his teeth as he fought against my authority.
"Heh, knights, huh?"
"The royal knights will come for you! Mere demons should be slain! How dare you oppose the law!" The templar knight yelled angrily, threatening me.
"Law?" I muttered and walked towards him as the others looked at us.
I grabbed his head, removed the helmet he wore, and stared at his unwavering eyes.
"I am absolute; I am the law." I said, instantly shooting his forehead with my rifle, causing his head to burst into remnants of meat along with his blood.
His body fell to the ground, causing the blood that came out of his neck to stream onto the lifeless ground.
Arthur and the others were in total fear; all they could think of was death.
Their death was coming.
But I restrained them for a reason; I wasn't planning on killing them yet. I wanted to ask for more information. Though they lied about some parts, the anger I saw in Arthur, who recklessly confronted the hobgoblin, seemed true.
It seems there are still things we should discuss, and for me to live peacefully, I need information so that I can live in peace without disturbance from others.
But I won't just sit around if they try and attack me like this; that is why gaining information is the most necessary thing to do.
I still don't know about those royal knights they've mentioned, but I can't be careless; I need to be wary since there are a lot of possibilities that they may be system holders like me.
"Master, what do we do about them?" Fenil asked, poking my arm.
"Leave these guys in front of me." I said.
"What about the others?" Fenil asked.
"Kill them."
With my approval, Fenil didn't change her expression and instantly slaughtered the helpless templar knights.
Causing a lot of blood to shower all across the area.
The wild life party, which had a lively attitude, has now turned pale.
Their faces were pale and filled with sweat, while their eyes wavered tremendously.
"Stay away from us!" Rin yelled in fear as her body trembled.
I walked closer to them, thinking of a way to handle them.
But before I could go near them, the barrier that hid the slavir's village instantly disappeared. Causing their village to be visible from an outside perspective.
"What happened?" I mumbled, glancing over the village that was somehow covered in fire.
Screams were heard as people ran in panic.
As I observed intently, several bodies were on the ground and were already dead.
Blood was everywhere, and people were running as if they were being chased by someone. But I couldn't see anyone.

Without thinking, I ran in the direction that Grand had told me.
[Report: Miya, Mara, and Tia are being targeted.]

Meanwhile, in the area where Miya and the other two were, an unknown man wearing black full-plate armor wielded a large broadsword and slaughtered everyone that he saw.
"Miya run here! Everyone, please evacuate!" The chief yelled, calling for the villagers.
Tia and Mara, who were near the slaughterer, flinched and weren't able to move their bodies. As if their movements were restricted.
"Tia! Mara! Come here now!" Miya yelled, desperate to call over the two. But the two did not answer and stood in despair as the slaughterer came their way.
"Such precious girls, I wonder how I'll kill you." the slaughterer uttered, licking some blood from his palm as he walked towards Mara and Tia.
Miya, who could not leave the two, instantly attacked the slaughterer with magic.
A blue orb-like structure came out of her hand and headed in the slaughterer's direction at a fast pace.
The man was struck, causing the two to be released from his restraint.
"Oh sh*t, you bitch!" The man yelled angrily, staring at Miya with overwhelming bloodlust.
The two that finally got out of the man's mysterious restraint began casting magic and attacking him.
Several fireballs were heading towards the slaughterer while ice spikes burrowed from the ground, rushing towards the man.
The man instantly swung his broadsword and cut off the magic attacks that were being cast by the two.
"You dare defy me? Just sit still and die, you bitches!" The man yelled, waving his broadsword.
"You think we're that powerless? We also know how to fight." Tia muttered as the three of them finally regrouped.
"You bitches!" The man yelled, releasing a dense black aura that enshrouded the area, causing the three to be unable to move while the man rushed to them, ready to swing his sword.
The three flinched and closed their eyes, knowing what awaited them.
After a loud clang was heard, the three of them opened their eyes.
Only to see Heinz's broad back blocking the man's sword with a mysterious rifle.
"Mister Heinz!" Miya shouted abruptly.
"Get back; I'll handle this." I said, staring at the man's eyes, which were engulfed with hatred and bloodlust.
"You, how dare you get in my way!" The man yelled, struggling to strike me with his sword.
"Shut the fuck up and kneel!" I said, using the dragon's tongue.
But contrary to my expectations, it did not work against him.
"Oh shit." I muttered.
