章 3: The Tiger King
"I slapped the tiger king and he looks exactly like..... oh God please help me or just bring me back to my previous life. God please help me." She thought to herself.
"You haven't said anything since the little incident with the tiger king. Are you scared?" said Sung-ho.
She just nodded. But she was not scared because he was the tiger king she was scared because the tiger king looked exactly like Kang Sang-Hoon.
" I slapped him. I did the same thing to Sang Hoon. What if he tries to kill me as well? " she thought.
Sung Ho sensed her discomfort he stopped walking, lifted her up and carried her on his shoulder. " I have promised to protect you haven't I? The only thing you should worry about is finding the shoes you want."
She gave him a slight smile and caressed his hair gently " Thank you for your kindness." and gave him a kiss on his head. Sung ho's face turned bright red and looked away from her.
"This little female is making me feel things I never thought I could. And the thought of me having to share her with anyone else makes me wanna kill every male who looks her way. But it's nearly impossible to have her to myself. What am I thinking am being selfish. what has she done to me." he thought to himself.
"Sung ho, where is the shoe store?" she asked.
"We are here it's just the next store." he said. They reached the store and started to look for shoes that fit her but couldn't find any of her size. Her feet were too small compared to the beast women.
"I knew you were a tiny female but I never thought you were this tiny" he chuckled.
"Hey! Am not tiny where am from am an average sized girl or female if you prefer." she scoffed. Sung ho only chuckled under his breath.
"Ok if we can't find your shoe size we can make them. Wait here I have to go ask the shopkeeper for some animal skin." he said. After a little while he came back with a disappointed look on his face.
"What wrong? You look a bit disappointed?" she said.
"The shopkeeper said that they have ran out of animals skins, I just have to go and hunt for them. Wait here I'll be right back." he said.
"Wait! I want to go with you!" she exclaimed.
"Are you afraid that Ha Joon will hunt you down?" he asked
" You mean that Yun Ha-joon is the tiger king and the son of doctor Jeoug. " she asked. "Yes, he is and that's why I hate the idea of him... never." he said furiously. She saw the fear in his eyes but, couldn't understand why he liked her so much and why he was afraid to lose her.
She kept these thoughts to herself and answered "Well honestly yes but I also want to be with you and make sure that you're safe. [sigh] You've protected me from the moment we met and the only person I can rely on." she said sadly.
"Mi Young, I promise to always return to you now and forever that's a dragon's promise and us dragons never break a promise. So don't worry about me okay and I promise you are safe here and besides he never comes here. Just stay put I'll be right back. Okay?" he said lovingly.
"Okay, I trust you just be back soon."she said. He waved at her and flew off.
Unknown to them the the tiger king was watching them from afar.
"Oh wow she's more interesting than I thought. I'll have to learn more about this little female" said Ha-joon 150 meters away from where Mi-young and Sung-ho were.
Yun Ha-Joon was a skilled fighter and intelligent warrior and became the more powerful Tiger King know to his kind. Due to his strength and intelligence the gods gifted him the God's eyes, which changed the colour of his hair and eyes from silver to light blue. And that's the how Sung ho couldn't sense him. Because Ha-joon was as far away as possible and used his God eye to watch them from afar. I just seconds he managed to travel from where he was to the store Mi-Young was. He watched her every move and adored how she curiosity moved around like a little puppy. He smiled to himself and left just right before Sung ho returned.
Sung ho asked the shopkeeper if anyone was roaming but she said she never saw anyone. He the went inside the store to find Mi-Young sleeping and curled up into a little ball. And wondered how someone could look this cute while sleeping. He took the animal skin he collected, measured her feet and started making her shoes.
By the time she woke up he had already made her Three pair of shoes.
"Mi-Young, you're awake just in time to try the shoes I made for you." he said proudly.
"Sung ho, you're back. Why didn't you wake me up? I could have helped you make the shoes." she said lovingly
"I didn't want to bother you. Besides you looked very peaceful I didn't want to disturb you." he said smiling to himself "Come try the shoes."
She tried all the shoes and they fit like a glove and super comfortable out of joy she lipped up and hugged him saying "Thank you, thank you, thank you. You're the best Sung-ho."
The poor guy couldn't help but have butterflies and his face turned bright red as he hugged her back.
They pulled away from each other blushing.
"I want to sew some clothes too do you have threads and needles." she said.
"Ahm okay here are the needle and thread."he said. She ran back in the store and told him not to come in. From the shirt she was wearing she made two panties, a crop top hoodie and a short skirt she wore one pantie kept one for future use and put on the clothes she made and out.
"How do I look ?" she asked Sung ho could not believe have different and more beautiful she looked. He started blushing looked away from her and said "You look great.". Mi-Young just chuckled softly.
They realized that it was getting late and Mi young suggested that they find a place to start. Before they moved away from the store Dr. Jeong appeared and suggested that they stay because the winter was coming soon and could be dangerous for Mi-Young. Sung-ho wasn't moved by his little speech and knew his agenda behind his suggestion. But the doctor was right, it was dangerous for Mi-Young.
The doctor directed them to a beautiful cave system. He took them where there were not caves and told them to dig where ever they pleased.
"Thanks doctor" said Sung ho "Remember my warning." he whispered. "Yes I do . " he said nervously.
After just an hour Sung-ho made a beautiful cave but to Mi-Young's disappointed they was no bed.
"Ohh, Sung-ho you've done a great job but where am I going to sleep?" she asked politely
"In my wings of course. " as he said this he transformed into a dragon. And wrapped her in his wings.
"But I can't sleep in your wings forever tomorrow we are making house furniture starting with a bed." she said joyfully.
"What's a bed ? " he said curiosity
"You'll find out tomorrow. Goodnight." she said mischievously.
They live together for Two weeks and made a beautiful home together with all the furniture Mi-Young requested.But trouble was on the horizon for the two love birds.
