DaoistGreenOnion Yep, some things come with sacrifices. XD
It may look bad that he went back on his word about the cure, but then again, if he did not just to be true to his word, they might be all doomed, so he had to compromise and take the lesser of the two evils. XD
As I said before, in this novel there would be things happening outside the MCs expectations that would force him to make new choices and decisions, breaking his plans or aiding them. He cannot possibly predict every random thing that is going to happen that he had no way of knowing about so it should be normal he has to adapt and change course. XD
These random things will sometimes also be happening in his favor as well so it is not completely stacked against him. XD
