"They're every damn where!" Albert yelled as he punched a monster away from him.
A sense of dread overtook him as he watched the scene around him. The creatures that attacked the tournament seemed to be endless in number and they had broken the team's defensive formation. Sheree lay on the mat as three of the creatures snapped and clawed at her. She wriggled and maneuvered well enough to avoid any major wounds but there was no way she could fend them all off for too long. A few feet away from her, Elliot was also lying on the mat. He too had been swarmed and taken down. He took a more brute force approach to defending himself though. He flailed wildly at anything in his immediate vicinity. He couldn't do as much damage to the creatures as he wanted to, but his attacks were still strong enough to snap the bones of any body part they connected with.
