Sam and Clementine returned to the car and they were soon on their way, it didn't take long for them to reach the motel.

Clementine was focused on the road but she couldn't help but feel that she had missed something due to the weird atmosphere that she was perceiving.

However, Sam had his eyes on Allison and Jason as the car soon came to a stop.

Sam got out of the car first and the moment he stepped foot on the ground, he gestured for them to stay in place,

"What is wrong, Sam?" Clementine asked.

"Someone has been here," Sam said, he could easily tell because of the faint footprints on the ground that others would otherwise have missed.

"Lillian!" Rachel exclaimed as she got out of the car but Sam grabbed her by the shoulder despite the gut-wrenching pain in his torso.

"Let go of me!" Rachel exclaimed.
