章 49: Feeling bad and resigned

Zoe sat on the sofa limply, even her body was shaking, helpless, feeling so disappointed and devastated by Leonardo's Confession. She feels that she was betrayed a long time ago and regrets that she has been loyal all this time, and even feels stupid because before she was made to feel guilty for her attitude.

"You'd better have a drink," said Russell as he sat on the side of the afternoon and gave her hot tea.

Zoe sipped the tea a little, then glanced at Russell. "Thank you," she whispered.

Russell smiled. "I know you must be feeling sad, devastated, disappointed... but what you know tonight is proof that you are not wrong... You don't have to keep feeling guilty for ignoring him so often... Because he betrayed you by loving her without leaving you first... He acts like greedy, right?"

Zoe nodded. "Yeah, he's greedy. He acts sweet to me in front of Georgina but he likes Georgina... It's like tricking me, making me happy with fake love."
